also the director screen play nominations being just white men/people not one for Ryan Coogler, Jordan Peele, Gina Prince no Keke nomination no Nope no Wendell Wild after all the praise those movies directors and actors it got it’s very interesting qwhite wait in fact most if not all the awards are just white woman/people nominated, I swear they only put zendaya there to not look racist I’m sorry but how many times they gonna give her an award for the same role atp they just doing it to shut y’all/us up about screaming racism! bc sure she good but she was definitely not that good that she keeps getting nominated over and over again and keep winning over everyone when there have been way more stellar performances they only giving it to her to keep the racism screams in check and since she’s their and Hollywood perfect ideal black person to win since she’s lightskin and mixed so they’ll rather give it to her for the same one performance over and over again then a black actor especially dark skinned black person and you can’t tell me otherwise bc why only her it’s getting obvious and it’s very ridiculous they think anyone falls

also Atlanta Yellowstone is very good sweep worthy, havent seen thebear but heard it’s good also Dahmer sweep bc of Evan Nicey acting gave CHILLZ deserve to win/sweep Andrew Garfield bc hes an amazing actor even tho I haven’t seen his show + i love him! + hacks is fun the flight attendant was good so was hacks worthy of nomination but it wasn’t that good funny definitely better shows could’ve gotten nominated instead!

i really like how the plot of the story is going but i really Hate what it is doing for the sake of NTA’s rep because i am starting to get annoyed with this shit like... i want to love my babies without feeling like everybody else is hating on them (and i can understand why to some extent considering how crappy the writers are) and like i just want all this bullshit to be over with already like ??? also the ptsd joke was not necessary i am upset that the writers made rene say that 🙄🙄🙄

I just dislike the writers in general because honestly they are just not good storytellers. The only time I think they came up with a great and cohesive storyline was in Season 5. Everything in it just made sense from episode 1 all the way until episode 19. Then after that they started to lag a bit again but it still was mostly okay. 

Then we started this season and with each episode they just seem to get more and more discombobulated. Reactions no longer make sense. The plot itself is weak. Individual story arcs aren’t doing well in the grand scheme of things. Like seriously Cayden James should not be an Oliver problem. It just really shouldn’t. Oliver should not be directly responsible for this man’s actions even if it is fabricated. 

OTA should not be acting as if they haven’t made a million mistakes in the past and trusted the wrong people or abandoned each other for the sake of their own pride. I’m less angry about NTA because yes they are acting like kids sure. Kids who have never made a mistake before and this is their first time yet they were heavily punished and kicked out of the family. 

I don’t just want to love my babies I want to be able to call them out sometimes too except I can’t because gosh the way the fandom vilifies them just because they aren’t Roy and Thea (which I find qwhite interesting but whatever). Now I find myself just disliking anyone that isn’t nta and Oliver and despising any sort of mistake the writers have nta make (no matter how good it might actually be for the story itself) because people will literally use that single moment for why these characters should be kicked off the show and certain other characters should be brought back. Characters that finally gave this show more than one person that black and brown kids could dress up as for Halloween. 

I really do like the plot for NTA in terms of them striking out on their own and figuring things out that way. And showing solidarity with eachother. I loved the idea of Oliver facing his first real hurdle as a team leader and failing with epic proportions only to see him try to correct his mistake while also dealing with the struggles of being a father and not letting his son down. I also liked the idea of Diggle continuing on his journey of last year from a deeply angry man to one at peace with his recent hurdles. If he needed time to get centered by being the green arrow I was okay with that. 

The problem is it is all so poorly executed. Where there should be understanding there is hate and self righteousness and petty remarks from EVERYONE. It’s ridiculous and terrible and is bringing me back to all twenty three episodes of season 4 again. (Although this time I at least have Dinah’s beautiful face to make me happy and they at least have not completely screwed up the fight scenes this time around like they did that season. Thank Goodness.)

Sorry if you wanted me to make you feel better. I can leave you with this: looking at each character’s journeys individually it is actually really great. 

OTA is back to being supportive of eachother and actually talking to eachother. 

Diggle and Felicity are friends again. 

NTA have been pretty amazing with the number of times they’ve proven “I’ve got your back.”

Dinah’s journey to tonight’s angry declaration has been the most amazing forward trajectory I have seen in a long while. Like seriously the girl has been pulled incredibly tight if it’s not one thing it’s another and now she’s finally snapped and we got to see how and why she was the way she was during her introduction. And I don’t just mean through those flashbacks.

Oliver and Felicity have no problems and William fell in love with her just as easily.  

Oliver as a dad has been a massive gift to us all and are my favorite Stephen scenes this year. 

They keep bringing up the Felicity and Curtis startup company so at least it’s not getting forgotten only to spring up out of nowhere.

Oh and Anatoly on the bad side is fantastic as much as it is painful.

So the separate parts of the story are actually not bad. There I found something positive.

Oh this is the first time certain people have been slut shaming Iris, there are a few people on twitter commenting on the way she dresses, and funny enough,Caitlin was wearing a mini skirt in the last episode but it's qwhite interesting that nobody is shaming her for that but for some reason Iris isn't afforded the same luxury, I wonder why. the red dress from the Christmas episode was a hit and it sold out even the lulus twitter page tweeted about the dress, so take that anon

The red dress from Christmas was one of the most beautiful pieces of clothing on one of the most beautiful human beings to ever exist. I love both Iris and Caitlin’s wardrobes. I think the main issue with Iris is that she wears more revealing clothes on top (I don’t think legs is a big deal anymore). People get scandalized by breasts in this day and age, I suppose.
