While she could've helped it, the witch made no attempt to quiet the loud chuckle that left her lips at his reaction. She adored Rabastan, considered him an examplary of what a Death Eater should be, firm to his ideals and charming when need be. But there was something he lacked and which she'd made her goal to give back to him before their training alongside came to an end. "Mingle? No, never. It's not about mingling with them, Rab. It's about using them." The brunette explained, a spark lighting in her eyes at the thought. "It's much more fun to have them coming to you, curiosity in their eyes almost as if they were going to get something out of it-- good, they believe. And then you give them what they deserve, the drunken numbness allows for them to endure even more pain and for us, definitely more fun."
Rabastan scoffed at her quick retort, and watched as she pursed her lips. He could practically see the cogs turning behind those bright blue eyes, and knew that something wicked was forming in her pretty little head. Athena was a brilliant witch. She was also merciless. He did not always enjoy being tasked to train other Death Eaters, but there was never a dull moment with Athena. He couldn't fault her efforts. But he could fault her suggestion.
"I will drink nothing made by muggles." It was a typically blunt statement, and his expression could not have made his distaste more apparent. Yet he considered it, if only because it could prove a useful training spot. "Do you often mingle with them? You do realise you can practise on any street or in any village. You do not need to be in such close proximity to so many."
