Ivo Graham: Inheritance Tracks (BBC Radio 4, 24.5.25)

The comedian and writer Ivo Graham was born in Tokyo. In his early years he attended school in Australia before moving to England because his family moved around due to his father’s work. He went on to study French and Russian at Oxford University but in his first term he began his adventures as a stand-up comedian. He’s since gone onto to become an established name on the circuit. Aside from live comedy, Ivo once said that “I’m a better writer than a performer. Everyone wants to feel like they’re a bit of a polymath, and I certainly feel that.” So with that in mind we asked Ivo to share his Inheritance Track with us. [BBC R4]

There is a daycare for 3- 5 yr old. The academy is from 6 yr old - 12 yr old, 6 years. After is secondary education (This became really popular after the world war in Naruto Shippuden). Two pathways: focus on fighting or focus on normal stuff.

Academy: Math, writing, tech or art, history, independent project, fighting techniques

Graded 1-5 mastery- 1-2 need to retest/ mandatory extra lessons, 3 recommend come to extra lesson, 4-5 good

 Job pathway: Secondary School

- Major chosen already - mentorship program

- Else: Core- math, writing, independent research, electives 

17 yr - 19 yr transfer to Specialized school- focus on research and career path (shadowing) / life courses required 

22 - 25 graduate

Ninja Pathway - 10 days of class required each month unless permission from gov.

After the war, technology advanced greatly, new jobs opened up, and Konoha expanded drastically. As the large cities expanded, each clan became districts and their heads managed that area so that the hokage has less duties. more cities developed. all laws would be approved by the hokage and his/ her council. Peace was founded with the shinobi alliance and travel is facilitated.
