Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart. The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth.

Hello there .
Anonymous person here.
I shall cut straight to the point.
May you please provide me with a recommendation of books literature in origin.
Deep regards.
K♤
Hi :)
I added the author’s origin to the names, I hope that’s what you meant.
My love for reading started with Crime And Punishment by F. Dostoevsky (Russian) and An American Tragedy by T. Dreiser (American), so I can definitely recommend these ones.
The Picture of Dorian Gray by O. Wilde (Irish), Martin Eden by J. London (American), Pride And Prejudice by J. Austen (English), Frankenstein by M. Shelley (English).
The Secret History by D. Tartt (American), of course. And If We Were Villains by M. Rio (American). They’re absolutely incredible.
Thanks for the question 🤍

There’s nothing in life quite like autumn. Misty mornings and rainy afternoons. The crisp cool feeling that hangs in the air. A sense of warmth that comes from within. It’s nothing less than magical, really.
