Remember how last week I was like “oh my gosh I kind of hate that I started watching Jenna Marbles and actually like her videos?” Bc really, the only reason I never watched her videos before was because she’s a famous youtuber and I don’t like famous youtubers. And I was annoyed that she has 19 million subscribers. But for some reason youtube recommended her video titled “I Made That Awful Jeans Chair” and the thumbnail made me go “wtf is that?” So I watched it and was like “wait, this is actually funny.” And then I kind of went down the rabbitthole and I actually love her now? I mean, she does dumb stuff like camouflaging herself into a chair (but actually doing it really well). And she’s funny af but also really cool and she loves her dogs so much, and her relationship with her bf Julien is goals. But tbh I think her videos from the past 3 years or so are the only ones worth watching.
And through her videos I started watching Julien’s cooking videos on his vlog channel, which are so funny bc he tells dad jokes and also makes everything look super professional when he actually just gets vegan, gluten free recipes off pinterest to see if he can actually make them or to see if they are any good.
I feel like they are the only non-problematic youtubers.

I’m going to New York City today with my parents and some friends of theirs and their friends have never been to NYC before. WhoTF lives in CT and has never been to NYC? So their friends were getting like safety tips from their daughter and I’m just like “what even?” I’ve never felt unsafe in New York. I said so to my mom and she was like, “I do.” 🤔
Idk maybe she’s still thinking New York in the 70s and 80s, which wasn’t so safe.
Anyway, we’re going to the 9/11 memorial and museum, and the observation deck on 1 World Trade. I’d been to the memorial when it first opened and the museum was still being built. It’s kind of weird because I was 19 on the day of the 9/11 attacks, so I feel like I know a ton about it because there was nonstop media coverage for months. Then a couple of years ago Youtube randomly recommended some 9/11 videos and I went down the rabbitthole. But I am really interested to see what they have in the museum. Also I want to see the survivor tree again and see how much it’s grown.
And lemme tell ya If I see anyone taking selfies at the memorial, 😡

i mean aside from thoughts on episodes. like you use to post edits, fanfics, etc. of madam secretary ALL the time. then out of nowhere 99.9% of your blog became about tessa and scott. i'm confused if you ever will go back to, at the very least, posting a bit more about madam secretary w/ edits, fanfics, etc. considering your blog name and URL is still "code name bluebird" and your header is of tim and tea. (cont)
i don't mean for this to be considered as hate by any means; that isn't my intention at all. i'm just genuinely asking and am genuinely confused. it's like i woke up one day and suddenly i kept seeing stuff about tessa and scott and ice skating, none of which i knew about at all, and then i suddenly realized it was you posting and reblogging this content. since then i've realized i never ever see anything about madam secretary on your blog anymore (cont)
and in all honesty, you're the only madam secretary blog i follow/followed because you're my favorite one :/
Sorry... the show just doesn’t interest me any more as much as it used to. I’ve really only ever watched it for the Henry and Elizabeth scenes. Last season they started getting less and less, and while I feel like this season there are more H&E scenes than last season, I still miss the intimacy from season 1 and even season 2. I haven’t really been inspired to make a gif in a long time. I still appreciate their relationship as much as ever, but the show has moved to the political side more and more and the family life less and less, so I’m not as interested anymore. I found Tessa and Scott last February and thought that stage would last for like 2 weeks, but I went down the rabbitthole and I’m still in it 11 months later. I have considered changing my url, but I’m not sure if I really want to, and I like my Henry/Elizabeth Téa/Tim header too much to get rid of it yet.
I’m happy that you liked my blog so much and I’m sorry my interests have moved on. :( I think there are newer Msec blogs, tho, but I don’t know how many of them make gifs. And it seems like the blogs that I still follow haven’t really posted any new gifs (or only a couple) this season. I feel like a lot of people have moved on, or at least their blogs have. But I think if you go to the tag, you will probably find some msec blogs that make content.

The Moulin Rouge music kind of introduced me to VM... After they won this year and I found out that they’d won silver in 2014, I remembered them as “The Canadian team who I’d thought should have won gold in 2014”. 😆
And I typically only followed figure skating during the Olympics. However, when I was 11-12 years old (my bday is in February), from shortly before the 1994 olympics and during the 1994 Olympics, I was super obsessed with figure skating (singles skating, tho. somehow i didn’t know ice dance or pairs skating existed back then). I wanted to be an olympic figure skater, but my mom told me that I would have had to have started skating when I was really young and I was super bummed. But there was no internet back then and I was also 12, and I also live in the US where it’s actually pretty uncommon to see figure skating competitions on TV unless it’s an olympic year. so that pretty much faded, but I’d still catch bits and pieces of the figure skating events at all of the following winter olympics (except 2010 because I didn’t have a TV). but idk... during the team event this year, i was only half-watching it. i was doing other stuff around my house. but then I heard the MR music and I caught only part of their performance, and I was captivated. So I was really excited to see them skate in the individual event and I got to see the full program, and it was amazing, and it was so exciting when they won the gold, an i also immediately shipped them, and i went down the rabbitthole on youtube and here I am, and because of them, I’ve really become a fan of ice dance. I already started following the Junior Grand Prix this year.
I have “Come What May” stuck in my head
i was watching figure skating but doing other things at the same time, and when I heard “Roxanne” from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, that’s what caught my attention to watch. and it was amazing and i need to see it again especially because i missed the beginning (my tv was on real low so it took me a little while to recognize the song)
