1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

Thanks so much for playing!

This is probably my favorite of all my fics, mostly because it’s so outside of my comfort zone when it comes to tone and style. I was aiming for something edgier and darker, basically the HBO of Eleven/Clara fics, but I didn’t lose the heart of what we love about them or wildly misrepresent the characters. I felt like I handled that fairly well, even though years have gone by since I’ve written it and I’m sure I’d change so much about it if I could.

You may not believe me but I do plan on finishing it, I just haven’t figured out how. I have several ideas, many of which I’ve actually written down (some of it recently!) but I can’t quite find the angle with which I want to approach it.
