Case-solving and Thieving in Japan; Second Stop, Tokyo!

Recap....

Ever since arriving to Japan; their first stop Yokohoma. DBT has met a lot of people. They’re here in support for Yuuka Nanako who is going to be trial for her crimes. Of course, they didn’t expect the amount of chaos surrounding her case and the corrupt ex-hero turned villain, Iron Titan. 

A lot of things happened. The DBT met the ADA aka the Armed Detective Agency. An agency filled with amazing detectives solving quirk-related crimes. Oblivion had a personal history with one of them. Dazai Osamu, a detective who knows more about the trial and case. He had information concerning the location where Yuuka is held and the crimes that Iron Titan has done. They made ally, Luna So-yeon Kobayashi who is the daugther of Iron Titan and Iron Titan’s victim. Luna got Yuuka out of jail and the team finds out that someone wants Yuuka dead before the trail.

Everything happened so fast. The DBT fought the Iron Titan supporters, they managed to escape the ADA and later team up with them,  and the judge declaring Iron Titan resolved of all crimes, and HYDE freaks appearing all over Yokohoma which ensues chaos.

But the midst of the chaos, Van Ink the Dragon; leader of the DBT call out Iron Titan for the final show in front of live television for everyone in Japan to see. The DBT fought and win against Iron Titan but their victory is short-lived when the villian didn’t want to give up.  The leader of the Lovely Horrors; Killer Night aka Matt finished Iron Titan off.

Soon.....things happened in the aftermath of the battle. Teenagers who watch the fight between the DBT and Iron Titan and the execution of Iron Titan by Killer Night were starting to get ideas. Some youth in Japanese starts to create their own fractions instead of becoming pro-heroes. They felt the pro-heroes let them down. So they are inspiring to be the DBT and other fractions in New York. Then there are youth who believe that pro-heroes are corrupt and should be punished just what Matt did to Iron Titan. This leads to the year of the youth rebelling factions causing chaos in the quirk society.

At this moment, Oblivion received a case from Dazai about a corrupt former pro-hero who is connected to Iron Titan and was involved having her father being sent to prison. The corrupt pro-hero is hiding in Tokyo. Once she finds the proof, she can free her father from jail. She and her friends have arrived to Shibuya in search of this villain, Blazing Blitz. 

Or whatever her name was. She is going to find her and bring her in.

Awaken The Beast: Oblivion/and or/ Ink!

(Well…this is hard which one to choose but if I have to…)

Oblivion stares at her target with no emotion whatsoever. After the prey begs for her forgiveness . She can’t take any chances. 

After what she’s been through and what she had to endure. She can’t take any chances. Ever. And never again.

She brought down her mace swiftly.

A sickening sound was heard as metal made impact to the head.  Shattering the skull before the Raging Voltage bolted the bully’s cerebel into fried meat.

It was an instant death but she cannot stop. She swung and swung again until all bones are shattered and everything else is broken and ruined while the red  begins to spray the walls as the red pool formed underneath the corpse.

Yuuka was quiet and yet she was nervous. She saw that her team was spreading out presents so she might as well do the same. She saw who her gift was for and walks over to gently tap Oblivion's shoulder showing a box wrapped up. The wrapping paper had little sparks and little war hammers on it with a bow.

"Umm...M..Merry Christmas Oblivion...I..hope you like it." she was looking at the box but she hopes she liked it. Inside would be the latest games that came out new and all. A scarf with a hat, some home made holiday sweets, and a hand made good luck charm. She was nervous but said nothing shy like.

"Hm?"

Oblivion sees Yuuka coming up to her. She and her fraction are invited to the Christmas party held by Oblivion's fraction, the DBT. Everyone brought gifts. When Yuuka comes over to her, Oblivion's cold stoic expression melts into a soft expression.

"Yes, Yuu?" She said her nickname. When told Merry Christmas she receives a gift. She blinks her bright eyes at this. She takes the gift in her hands. She smiles and returns her kindness with a gift of her own. A gift wrapped in purple with floral designs on it. Inside, some galunets help with her quirk along with a costume that she might want. She and Gerald did the designs. After all, Yuuka is a hero to her.

"Thanks, Yuuka." She wraps an arm around her waist and nuzzles against her, "Merry Christmas." She tells her warmly.

“Thanks! I’m glad!” They’re almost there. She reads a text from Navarro that they’re almost ready. Ink knows how to buy time. “Anyway....how are you been since we been in Japan? I wish you can come with us! There was a lot of strong and awesome people in Japan. Plus the places...the onsens, the food and the shrines are so awesome!” Ink tells Jinx.

Oblivion smiles a little. “Nice. I’m thinking of visting you on the island so we can hang out. I can bring my switch console and all that so we can play video games together.” She sees a text from Navarro that they’re getting things done. They’re ready.

“Let’s get going. The lunch rush is now over. We might get free tables.” She said.

“Nice.” Jaron nods at the cake. “Navarro! The cake is ready!”

“Great! Both teams are arriving!” Said Navarro. “Everyone got their party poppers and all that?!”

(For Halloween!)

"Oi, Shdwkyz! I got you this spicy shrimp ramen for Halloween! I thought you'd like it since you mentioned shrimp was your fave!"

"Some pork ramen for Oblivion, too!"

"Taz and Navarro, I thought you guys might like these chicken flavoured ones - they're a good start if you're not sure which ramen you like yet!"

"There's also some spicy flavours for Gerald, Navarro and Jaron naturally, if you like those!"

"Also for Ink, I saved you a good one - special limited edition Halloween ramen! Apparently the noodles look really orange, like a pumpkin!"

"That it is!" Shdwkyz answered with a chuckle, taking the spicy shrimp ramen.

Oblivion nods sliently as she likes pork ramen. As for Taz and Navarro, they grinned as they liked it.

"Chicken is my favorite!" Taz smiled.

"Same here!" Navarro said. "I also want to try out these spicy favors!"

"I love spicy as long as there's meat in it!" Said Gerald.

"Whenever there's spicy, I'm in! Thanks, man!" Said Jaron, thanking Ryuji. The others thanked Ryuji and they looked to ready to dig in until Ryuji announced that he got something good for Ink. A special limited edition. A Halloween ramen. It's something they never heard of!

"Woah!" Ink said, her eyes beaming like stars. Her fraction heard this and were impressed. "Dude! Ryuji! We've gotta eat this together!" Ink said. "Oh! I also got you a cool-looking mask! Here!" Ink got Ryuji..a half skull-mask but this one has horns like a demon. "Here! I also have hot cocoa with pumpkin spice in it!" She snickered.

That sounds sweet. But does this mean the raging voltage has a huge crush on the toxic hero Nightshade??? XDDDDD You can admit it if you do. I think it's adorable.

"Well.....um...."

Does she have a crush on Nightshade? Oblivion needs to think. When she first met her, she didn't care about her that much but after a while, she reminds her of herself. She wanted to be a hero as well but that dream was taken away. Closed off.

But seeing Yukka, she admires her. And after that, when she came to Japan. She cares about her a lot. Like a lot. Oblivion didn't notice after everything they had been through. Now...she is always there for her. And when she's happy, Oblivion is happy.

"I guess so..." She said, sratching her cheek.

Oblivion is drinking her drink which is more like a soft beverage. She looks over to the warrior. 

“Physically....you can.” Oblivion said as she slowly twirls her chicken skewers, “But mentally? You possibly can’t...sometimes it’s hard to.” She said. “Sometimes...the pain is still there and it reminds you of....what’s your purpose and all that.” 

“I mean....the pain numbs sometimes when you get help or have support. It’s still there but...it’s like...uh....scar?” Oblivion questioned herself. “Do scars fade?”

~~Valentine days cheer part two~~

Ashley was really red but she was looking away while holding some flowers to Joshua. "..I.h...h..h..here..h..h..happy v..v...valentine's d..day?" she said seeing her team spreading gifts to his team.

"Here you go Ophelia, happy valentine's day. I home grown these roses myself. I was able to find some rare ones b..but..I hope you like them." Hex smiled kindly to her while holding a box of chocolates to her.

"Happy V-day Maggie!!" T-bone said happily while holding a giant teddy bear and chocolates for her. He was new to this but hey, it was nice to give someone something right? And yeah, the bear was pretty giant

"Here you go! I hope you like it Taz! Happy valentine's day!" Timmy giggled showing a necklace he saved up for this to give to her. He had home made chocolates and even a small bear for her.

Rex was quiet but he was looking to the side, holding some roses and other flowers out to...Kali!? He was blushing rather hard but he didn't say much. "Here; Happy Valentine's day Kali...and...i know this is sudden but...would you like to go out on a date with me?" His team was giggling finding it cute.

Yuuka said nothing but she had some white chocolate and normal chocolate in a box but was holding it out to Oblivion while looking down. "...Here..Happy v-day Oblivion...I..I hope you like them." she said with Luna happy to see her friend at least trying it was sweet.

"A-ah...thank you!" Joshua accepts the gift, "I hope you like my gift as well!" He got Ashely some chocolates in a heart-shaped box and a mug that says, Super Girl! Around the corner, Joshua's fraction is so proud of him that he got the guts to give the chocolate to Ashely.

It's about damn time.

"Thank you so much! I hope you like these flowers. They can fill the room with a wonderful smell." She also has green tea-infused chocolates inside this heart-shaped box of hers. "Here are the chocolates from me to you, Hex. Happy V-Day!" She smiles at Hex.

----- Maggie & T-Bone -------

"Thanks, T-Bone." Maggie blushes to see the gifts from him. Maggie hugs him back. She really loves the giant teddy bear. She would snuggle it no doubt. "I wasn't sure what to get you but here." Maggie got him some boxing gloves and a box of chocolates.

------- Taz & Timmy -------

"Thank you so much! I made you cookies!" Taz presents to Timmy with heart-shaped cookies. "Here you! Thank you so much for the necklace and teddy bear!" She also got him an animal plushie.

------ Kali & Rex -----

"Yeah what?" Kali looks over to Rex then she widens her eyes to see Rex giving her "E-eh?!" Kali doesn't know what to say to this. Her own fraction is in shock to see this.

"U-uh...um..." Kali doesn't know what to say but only one word. "Yes! I will be your valentine." Making her fraction happy that Kali finally found someone for Valentine's Day. "And I will go on a date with you!" Kali nodded her head.

Her fraction was crying out of happiness. It's about time. No more catfishes!

"Thank you, Yuuka." She got some advice on how to give gifts to Yuuka. "Um...I know this is sudden but...wanna be my valentine?" She asked. "Want to hang out and grab some dinner!" She gave Yuuka some flowers. Daisies.

"Yeah well...you know." Oblivion is not commenting more on this. Though her team knew, most of them knew.

The subtle signs were there.

Are you doing alright and I hear that you may have a challenger since Yuu is pretty good with games. Second, what did you get her for her birthday! We need to know!

For her birthday?

Oblivion pauses for a moment. "Lots of things. I brought her a handheld game console and got her some games. Along with some support gear that helps with her quirk. I had Navarro to help with that."

"Plus...um....I was thinking of taking her somewhere nice too. Like a restaurant or to the movies." She said. "Still working on that."

Guys guys!! It's Jinx and Yuuka's birthday's(The day they turned into demons) tomorrow. Got anything planed for the two? :3

"Wait! Seriously! I gotta get Jinx and Yukka something!" Ink exclaimed. "What would Jinx like? She would want something fun and something she can use every day when she goes out on missions. Okay." Ink nods. "But what about Yuuka."

"Ink. Let me handle that. I think I have a present in mind for Yuuka." Said Oblivion.

"Really?" Ink blinked. "Uh-huh." Oblivion nods. "Thanks Oblivion, you're the best! Oh! Let's throw them a big party together and invite everyone. The fractions of New York."

"Good idea. They would love that." Oblivion nods her head.

For oblivion

Oblivion suffers a lot of losses before and after she joins the DBT. Oblivion wants to improve and knows that swinging her battle mace just won't do it. But she doesn't know how and her friends don't have much experience handling a weapon like hers. It's usually swords, guns, and fists.

So Gerald points something out or rather Gerald unwittingly gave her ideas on how to improve by incorporating attacks into her moveset. He shows her comic books of a Norwegian-American hero who uses a hammer and has lighting powers.

Because of that, she uses some of this hero's moves. Plus, Gerald gave her more ideas as she play video games with him. Fighting games

So what's the more valuable lesson here?

Before.... Oblivion doesn't rely on her friends since she didn't have friends back home so she doesn't ask for help. She doesn't need input from them since she didn't consider them as valuable.

But over time after talking to Gerald and getting steady wins. At first, she assumes that he is not smart as the others as he is too young to not get things down. But to her, Gerald is the most inspired which leads her to believe in her friends often from now on.

This also lead her to believe in Dazai more as well. Placing her faith in her friends.

Arriving to Japan; First Stop, Yokohoma!

After the battle and events between NYC fractions and Japanese pro-heroes. The NYC fractions who was using their quirks to help which is breaking the law and pro-heroes who sought to try to bring order and relief to the disaster which end up causing a rift between them which results in a major battle called It is labeled Battle of Order and Chaos. 

The event was called The Yuu Rally when everyone in NYC were rallying and show their unwavering support for a Japanese ex-student who helped one of the fractions the DBT took down Iron Titan and held off the Japanese pro-heroes are trying to arrest her for being a vigilante and broke the law despite the circumstances that NYC was under. 

It seems like it end on a good note but it wasn’t over.  Yuuka was still taken to the Japan to get a fair trial since the two heroes; Eraserhead and Endeavor saw that NYC rallied behind her live when they see that she gives herself up and Oblivion The Raging Voltage gave a speech that encourage NYC to cheer for her. NYC fractions and the citizens wanted her here in NYC after the Iron Titan Incident. 

Maybe...Japan and its courts will see the evidence from the Iron Titan Incident and everything that lead up to the arrest in Yuuka’s case including the rally. However....while the DBT did agreed to Eraserhead that Yuuka will be safe under his watch. They decided to go to Japan themselves without anyone knowing. 

Well...except for NYC fractions who knew about it as Ink told them in a secret virtual meeting. The DBT are of course impatient but it wasn’t the only factor. Oblivion said that she doesn’t trust Japanese courts and such so she wanted to go to her home country even if she doesn’t like going back there. Just in case if something goes. The team agreed.  

And so....the DBT hitch a ride by having Jaron convinced a private jet pilot, its crew and company to take the entire team to Japan and their first stop, Yokohoma unnoticed. It was paid thanks to Fosh wiring a money transfer to the crew. On their way here, it is revealed Oblivion used to live there.

“Can’t believe we’re here!” Ink grinned. “Woah! I think I see Ferris Wheel! This place looks cool”

“Uh-huh. Anyway....me and Fosh booked us some hotel rooms near here so let’s get going.” She said as she leads the way. 

What sort of misadventures would the DBT get themselves into? What kind of city is Yokohoma?

God and Devils || Closed RP

Rust met up his friends after meeting Mori and his first God encounter, Sun Wukong. When he came, his friends became worried and asked what took him so long to which Rust cannot contain himself and spills out his amazing encounter making his friends bewildered and confused until they process what Rust said to them.

Two name drops. One of these names that three people in the fraction of the DBT have familiar knowledge of.

Sun Wukong. Aka The Monkey King. A God from a Chinese epic tales. A trickster God they said. In the legends such as the Journey to The West, he rebelled against heaven and was punished so the idea of war and destruction in heaven is not too far off. Plus, they know Rust wouldn’t lie something about that. 

Once the team did their research and realized who Rust just met and what he just done. There were mixed reactions.

Handful of them became skeptical yet interested entertaining this idea, a few were upset that Rust would do something so reckless without their consideration and there is one on the team who became so amazed by Rust's story, she believes it right away. She wants to know more about this encounter. This God named Sun Wukong and of course, Mori.

"So he's really strong, Rust? Is he really?" Said a girl in a navy short jacket with light olive skin and black medium hair as her eyes lit up at the idea of fighting a God. Rust grins, "Yeah, stronger than you." Because of that answer, the girl, the leader of the fraction is now stoked as Ruat wanting to learn about Mori and Sun Wukong.

"And you sure, this Mori person knows this Sun Wukong? It sounds off." A masked youth wearing white and gray striped hoodie as he has a long gray scarf.

"Last time I checked, I never heard of Sun Wukong wanting fruits as an offering unless if he is really God then that makes sense." Said a girl wearing teal-colored visors as she wears a blue sweater as she had this emotionless expression on her face while playing her handheld game console.

"Are we seriously going through with this? We gonna let someone who is stronger than Ink on this island?!" Yelled a short teen with black spiky hair and green eyes while fixing his grenade launcher. He wants to know what the hell is Rust thinking right now.

"It seems interested." Said a girl wearing a purple long sleeve vest as she has armor plates on her shoulders. "I said let's see what this Wukong is capable of..."

From the God of Highschool. A young shaven boy thought about it as he heard that name before and it’s not the god. Especially that tournament. Wh

"....." A big redhead looks worried as she crosses her arms. “I still don’t like this.”

Regardless, they can’t just foriet the match at this point. Nobody wants to admit but the idea of fighting a god and watching this fight is tempting in these teen’s minds. So they have to see and what happens.

A week later, Saturday 3:50pm.

And so a week has passed as the teens have trained, prep an area for their fight with the god and are now waiting for the arrival of Sun Wukong on their home island of Wyckoff. 

In the field clear of junkyard, there is only grain and sand. Standing right next to Rust is no other Vanity 'Ink' Vanguard, the leader of the DBT, watching the skies as the time is almost about to hit 4pm. Their friends are also waiting on the stands, anxiously waiting. 

“Do you think he’s going to come, Rust?” Ink asked as she shifts her weight, feeling excited. Rust chuckles,

“Sure is. He’s gonna come. I know it.” Rust grinned.

“Curses?” Oblivion stops playing her handheld game as she click pause. Oblivion is a demon but she doesn’t use curses or encounter any demon uses curses. “What are you talking about? Aren’t shrines here is to get some good luck or something? Unless...you’re saying that people are cursed and they go to the shrine to get the curse lifted.”

“Just want to see if this basketball team is a big deal.” She said.
