A BUNCH of stuff I'll probably never finish/doodle dumps that I haven't posted.

Concept art for pony house, puppitified piper, raimila, (now we're heading to the hospital, just me you and your dad brother in the back of an ambulance), crossover shenanigans(aka fake screenshot that i abandonded), lumity, the wittebanes being mentally ill, and... vee!

Most of these are kinda old which... may or may not b obvious (looking at my old art like... why does everyone look like a literal bundle of sticks...)

I also have some that I've been itching 2 redraw... we'll see what happens

Here’s what I’ve decided on:

Luz finally sees her mother again after months and months apart. She apologises profusely for all the trouble she caused, but Camila simply reassures her that everything will be okay and she’s just glad to have her daughter home at last. And much like Valjean promising Fantine that he will find and take care of Cosette because of how moved he is by the fact that Fantine loves her daughter so much, Eda is so amazed at realising how incredible Camila is that she gets down on one knee and proposes to marry her that instant, especially once Raine and Lilith agree to step in and help the Noceda-Clawthornes out. Only then does Luz introduce her mother to Amity properly and then we have both a Camileda kiss and a Lumity kiss (and maybe also a Raimila kiss and a Raeda kiss). And soon enough, what began as a duet between Camila and Luz becomes a Lumity duet overlapping with a Camilraeda trio. Then there’s a trio between Gus, Willow, and Hunter where they sing about how Luz changed all of their lives for the better, and soon the audience realises all of the melodies of all the major songs throughout the show are coming together and reprising themselves in small ways and big ways as we go along our way from mother/daughter duet to sapphic love quartet and finally arriving at Hunter (and possibly also Darius or Vee) singing:

Well it seems to me that whether the weather is fair or the foulest ever,

Us (you) weird folks really are destined to stick together.

And then we learn that in their later years, everyone made their home on the Boiling Isles and Hunter may or may not have written a self-help book called “Stronger Mind: A guide to cultivating your best self and hunting the Emperor of your inner demons” under the assumed name Caleb William Park while he and Willow run a flower shop together. Gus is leading an acting troupe with Vee that puts on stage plays about various subjects from Boiling Isles history, literature, and mythology. Also, maybe we have a brief snippet of verse about how Odalia and Alador ended up in an amusement park/carnival where Alador is a head technician while Odalia sits in the dunking booth for a living.

Of course, the whole story ends with the revelation that Camila has been the narrator of the whole musical, with her concluding the show with the line:

“And that is how my daughter found true love and came to live happily ever after, as all good fairy tales should end”.

Love your post on how you’d do an “Owl House” musical. If you don’t mind me asking, what would the finale of the musical sound like and how would it be constructed (ie big and dramatic vs small and yearning vs somewhere in-between)?

It depends what sort of character we go for in the rest of the show. If it's some sort of big battle based thing, then it's going to HAVE to be huge, one would imagine.

If, however, it's more intimately about a set of characters (IE Lumity: The Musical) then I'd wanna end it more delicately.
