Scary times here, drawing a friend's character in the style of another friend. To level the playing field I thought @oobs-kenoobs' Portia might look neat in @chibi-netherlands' cartoonier style (not because their paintings are too powerful, honest 😅)

I'm not entirely certain dinosaurs were still around in the middle-ages, but looking at embroideries of the time I'd be easily convinced that what we're calling a horse was actually a giant reptile.

As you descend into the basement your clattering footsteps echo between chattering voices. Gossiping between abundant vats and casks, leant upon a wine-stained oak table two tieflings turn to see to whom the footsteps belong with equally playful grins. You recognise them as those of whom the curious gnome wizard forewarned you, Briar and Rose. To invite yourself to join them turn to 273. To steal a bottle of wine and run turn to 172. To stand awkwardly awaiting a social cue turn to 330.

The folk of Trumpton were not a little taken aback to see @chibi-netherlands' hobgoblins wandering into town that morning. But since they were most kind buying sandwiches and tidied up after their picnic, the townsfolk cheerfully waved them goodbye, letting them known that they would be most welcome next time.

Following the trend, @oobs-kenoobs' Hortense continues to travel back in time, albeit now so far back that her crossbow has yet to be invented. I'm sure she's resourceful enough to manage.

Our FF adventure continues and concludes with two of @crossroadart-seabear's centaurs in the style of an artist whose process is almost antithetical to mine. I managed to get a little colour leaning into the flora/fauna aspect but boy, have I got a long way to go! 😅

Since my first attempt at digital watercolours in Rebelle was painting a reptile in the style of someone famous for painting fluffy animals, this wasn't perhaps as successful as I'd like. Still, he has cake and he is happy, so who am I to judge?

Character belongs to the superb @chibi-netherlands who is also doing their own challenge that's lookin' real great and you should go see it right now, or else.

I typically start the month with a picture that incorporates various different styles into one, thus illustrating the point but uh... Well I guess this counts as different styles 😅

@probablecryptid's Kleos is feeling a little lighter than usual. The cracks in their face may be starting to shine a little more, but that's understandable when you feel fragile. It's a real pane.

It's @justmissart's Evie! Not quite climbing the highs of previous years' styles, but she seems comfy at least. Comfier than if I'd given her as many belts and zips as this style typically demands, anyway.
