genuinely so good. reminds me a little bit of myself (and a bit of you but i may be getting ahead of myself)...

to me this poem is a critique regarding the poor treatment of neurodivergent people in society, how this internalized torment leaves them with conformity as their only choice in life to be treated equally instead of behaving like their true selves and receive said equiality and the eventual embracement of the "strangeness" as part of themselves and society as a whole - then accepting the fact that "normality" as we know it is simply a social construct to judge others based on simple (and some, ridiculous) motives
