      “the last time i made a cake, i mixed up my sugar and salt containers!” well, both containers had been labeled with an S. and, the S on the salt container had kind of looked like a 5—which, she'd figured had stood for five cups of sugar required by the recipe. in the end, it'd only required two and a quarter cups. by the time she'd realized that, though, she'd already baked a cake containing an industrial amount of salt. 

“yuri ate the whole thing, though, so it might have been good!” despite the memory, she laughs and hums pleasantly as she opens the cabinets. anya had reported to them the evening before that she'd done well on her last assessment, and it'd been loid's idea to surprise her with a treat the next day. of course, yor had willingly agreed to take part. her gaze scans the neat shelves, trying to decipher what they might need first. 

“um...where do you want to start? do we have any ingredients that need to be cut up?” she doesn't think that that much is required to make a simple dessert, but if there was something, perhaps that at least would be up her alley!
