Hmm, I've sat here and tried, but I don't think I can.

There are tropy elements in all the love interests' routes, but to box them in too much would be a shame.

Lauritzen has a bit of forced proximity, break down his defences about him.

Safaa is a bit friends to lovers, a bit forbidden love.

Yasin is very much 'you can count on me'.

Alba..... well, she's Alba.

When you go to replay an on going story and simply forget what name the MC of that slot was using... I guess Yasin is going to meet a whole new Ghita...

For fun, I have tried identifying the creatures from the CGs of Ghita’s mom from The Missing

• Thai version: The Krasue (a female spirit with floating intestines)

• Polish version: The Strzyga/Striga (a female demon-vampire hybrid)

• Ghanaian version: The Asanbosam/Sasabonsam (a vampire with hook like extremities)

• Greenlandic version: The Draugr (a pale and bony zombie like creature)

Interestingly, all those mythical creatures share traits of vampirism, notably consuming human blood or flesh. Vampire figures have also been associated with the symbolism of greed. The author has hinted that there won’t be supernatural elements to the story, which could be that Ghita’s hallucinations are related to folkore creatures and their symbolism. In the case of her mother, it could be a representation of her past catching up to her OR she was targeted by a cult with bad intentions.

• Faye started playing Romance Club in 2021. Her first book was Chasing You (1). Among the older stories, she also likes Wave Patrol and Queen in 30 Days.

• Faye reads (which is why she’s here) and writes fanfics.

• Of all the female love interests, Faye likes Kayla from Wave Patrol the most.

• Faye’s favorite incomplete love interest branches: John (Shadows of Saintfour), Shelley (Wave Patrol), and Marshall (Rage of The Titans).

• Anders is not a full-fledged love interest; he’s a fling. • Among the routes Faye considers as a red flag (🚩), she includes Dragan (And the Haze Will Take Us), Connor (Hell and High Water), and Boris (Heaven’s Secret: Requiem).
