Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.

As other people need to separate Mun and Muse, the Mun themselves need to separate themselves from the Muse as well.

I get it, we all get attached to our characters and we love them very much but there has to be a level where you can step back from the character and realize they are *ficitonal* and that *they aren’t you*. When someone does something bad to your OC or Muse they aren’t attacking you as a person.

While I love Missi, I do see her as that, she is separate from myself despite how much of myself I project onto her and how much I have built her up to be. So if someone hates her, is rude to her, I don’t take it personally because these are just characters.

Now I’m not saying you should disregard characters entirely because they’re fictional or that what they do doesn’t matter and can’t impact you, no. I’m saying that however important a character is; life won’t work out like a fairy tale and if you wish to cover certain topics, be a dick, or be evil you have to face the fact people won’t like your muse which is fine, but it doesn’t mean they don’t like you as a person and you shouldn’t be throwing a tantrum because “ oh no, that muse doesn’t like my OC/Muse!! “

People need to suck up the actions done and deal with the fact not everyone is going to get along, Muses won’t like each other, but that doesn’t mean they’re taking it out on the Mun.

  She’d forgotten to watch herself— the habit of checking over her shoulders & to keep her guard up was strangely absent today. Had they grown too trusting of someone they barely knew? Possibly. She hated that, however, so she pretended she didn’t.   But they couldn’t ignore that feeling in her stomach, and in her chest, every time they got too close, got too cocky. It was much easier to act irritated about her, when really she was frustrated with herself.

“  Dom— ??  ” she gasps in surprise after turning a corner, her words dying quickly in her mouth as the taller woman caught her, pulling her in close.   She commanded control over the other with her lips, her hands electric against their waist, strange claws so close to digging into them.    Lilith’s heart pounded rapidly in her chest, but .. she did not pull away. They didn’t want to. They gave in so easily, and for a moment they forgot to be angry about it. Ears drooped & eyes fluttered shut, but the moment was quickly over before they could do anything else.   Dom had pulled away, looking down at the witch with that cocky look on her face & Lilith glowered back—  she could not hide the revealing deep red on her pale face, however.

 She tore her glare away from the other with a haughty turn of the head, and shoved past Dominator, the sound of stomping heels fading down the hallway.

Well, now—although throwing knives aren’t his typical choice of ranged weaponry, guns being far more comfortable to his hands, this is hardly the type of gift that one refuses or ignores. 

Bowing his head in silent appreciation, he plucks one of the knives from the bandolier, holding it in between his fingers and studying the edge of the blade. Then, turning his head, he flicks his wrist, and the dagger flies cleanly through the air, embedding itself in the wall.

A night on the town with her favorite evil alien? Sounded like a fun time indeed. Breaking into and taking whatever she wishes truly made her feel like a Queen and anyone who would try to protest would meet a swift end either by her heeled boot or find themselves completely eaten alive by her little critters; provided Dom wasn’t already on top of it and reducing them to ash.

Picking up a few new cloths, accessories, even a new dress, and of course jewelry; Missi enjoyed this gift a lot as it wasn’t just something focused around Dom as she was getting other things but the gift was simply sweetened by their presence.
