This is more a freeform concept than a request, but this has been stuck in my head for a while and I thought this might be a good place for it: Frank Castle with a reader who doesn’t care that much about what happens to them and doesn’t value themselves much, they just stick to the job and finish it because it’s important, with the lyric “you’re just a body / you’re just a body / there’s nothing left” (Milk by Hands Off Gretel has been rotating in my mind for a week now)

okay but imagine he starts falling for reader who doesn’t care about what happens to them!!! suddenly he’s stopping you when you get too close to a ledge or in the line of sight of the current target!!! suddenly he’s scolding you if you come home with more wounds than the last time and he’s visibly upset about it!!!

he’s so full of this emotion he can’t quite put his finger on every time you’re putting yourself in harms way and you don’t even care. it takes everything in him not to keep a leash on you so he can always keep an eye on you!!!
