Every Firefox update adds some feature I love but didn't even know I wanted. The most recent is even more settings for readerview. Line, character, and word spacing, even more colours and contrast options
That will make things prettier and comfier for most users, and vastly more accesible for people with vision problems.

Times New Roman (11 point, single spaced) is my workaday default on my word processors and whatnot, and I switch to Georgia or Garamond a lot when I really want to think about style and effect. Often I'll write the first draft in TNR and then do the editing passes in something prettier.
And this is what AO3 looks like when I read it (Firefox readerview, browswer forced to TNR)
fanfic writers what font do you write in
i know on ao3 it's all in verdana but when you're drafting the fic in word or docs or whatever
#Every sans serif option on here frightens me#I HATE sans serif#it's aesthetically bankrupt and difficult to read
