"Apprehensions About Monday" To cut short a long story, I asked Mother if thyroid conditions run through out family and she's confirmed that they do, so I scheduled an appointment to check for any. To be frank, I've had a hunch that something is off with my insides but I'm too afraid to go have them checked out. From what I've been mostly aware, I do have hormonal imbalances, though, thyroid issues might be a reason why I haven't been able to de-chubbify (or gain more weight, actually). "Hotlines" I wrote this while thinking about work (which I have today, later on) and, in working this job that I do, my opinions are thus. See, the phone line I work is a peer-support line and, in general, people call my type of phone line to intervene BEFORE a crisis, however, I've had to handle crisis calls. As far as I can tell you, crisis lines are woefully ineffective.
