First Shrine Visit..... Part 1

Tuesday April 18

Started off my morning right with a healthy breakfast. In the breakfast ehy gave us natto witch is fermented soy beans. I was excided to try it but decided to save it for later as I was running late.

The I headed off to school! classes were good. On Tuesdays I have japenese laguage and Moden Japenese Society. It’s less about modern society and more about the current education system in Japan. It’s intersting tho a bit dissapointing, becaue I was really looking forward to this class, and it’s diffrent than I expected.

Later in the womens bathroom at my college (odd way to start a sentance I know) i found this genous thing in the stalls!

You just grab a bit of TP and spray this cleaner on to wipe down the seat. I wish the US had something like this.

After class we went and got lunch. I bought my ticket from the ticket vending machine. I got the katsu curry. I told you I would have pictures of the ticket vending machine and here they are. Can you fighure out what you would order?

After lunch the girls and I went to visit a few shrines! We were encouraged to visit in our culture class as our next lesson was on Shinto. 

Both shrines we passed on our way to and from school so it was easy to find them.

The first one was small and looked like it was not super well attended. I didn’t know much about the shinto belief system apart what I had peiced together from watching anime and movies like Spirited Away. So while there were things I sort of knew about most of my pictures were because I wanted to know what they were for/ment.

It was realy cool! then we made our way to the bigger more well attended shrine. On the way we passed this cute little thing
