i think he prefers baking the most. i mean its chemistry you get to eat. but a1 is a picky eater but not a picky drunk, so a2 def makes more cocktails than he does pastries

what are a few of your favorite stucky headcanons?
Oooohhh I’m glad you added ‘a few’ because this is gonna be a long one. :)
1) Steve’s a morning person.
I mean are any of us surprised? Of course Steve’s the morning person in the relationship. But do you know what Bucky is? A CUDDLER.
Every morning starts out the same. It’s cold outside and it’s nice and warm in the warm confines of their bed with not two but three fleece blankets on top of their comforter. Steve wears nothing but maybe slash on occasion a pair of thin underwear to sleep because the serum turned him into a human furnace.
Sure, it’s freezing as hell outside (”Get your butt back in the house, Steve,” Bucky would say back in nineteen-thirty something.) but nothing stops Steve from going out on his morning run.
Except for Bucky.
Bucky, who snakes his oh so cold metal arm around Steve’s waist and pulls him close. Like a cat, Bucky presses his cold nose into the crook of Steve’s neck between a long drawn out yawn.
“Mmm, stay for a while,” Bucky says, both legs trapping Steve’s so he wouldn’t be able to escape even if he dared.
So Steve caves and does abandons the idea of going out early. Yeah, he’d be a little late by time he does get ready but a half hour past his normal time would suffice.
But then Bucky still persists when Steve tries to wiggle himself out of his arms, “Five more minutes,” Bucky whines as if he’d get his way.
“Buck,” Steve chuckles but sighs out, “okay, fine.”
Five minutes turned out to be an hour, and another half hour because by time Bucky got up, he dragged Steve into the shower with him to do other activities.
Steve ended up skipping his morning run that day.
2) Bucky takes up baking, and he really makes an effort by getting good at it too.
This is inspired by my Bakery!AU WIP of course but honestly, who can’t resist Baker!Bucky? I feel like Bucky would be a stress baker too. What would he make? Probably...
Sourdough, because maybe his ma made it back in the day and it reminds him of home.
Cupcakes. Full-fledged cakes might be intimating for Bucky so I imagine cupcakes would be easier for him. When he wakes up and pads out into the kitchen, he’d wonder where three of them went before his brain catches up with him: Stevie snuck in some before his morning run thinking I wouldn’t notice.
Cookies galore. Sugar, gingerbread, gingersnaps, shortbread, raisin oatmeal because Steve’s an old man, snickerdoodles, peanut butter, but most of all: Chocolate chip. But no ordinary chocolate chip. Sam’s mother’s recipe. How does Bucky get it? Well, he somehow manages to persuade Sam for it.
Again, my Bakery!AU is leaking onto this (lolol) but another thing he’d make: A Russian Honey Cake (Aka: Medovik) not for Steve, no, but for Natasha. Though Steve does compete with Natasha when it comes to requesting Bucky to make it more often. Because damn it if all the baking and assembling each layer takes hours of effort.
Let’s just say Steve doesn’t complain about the massive amounts of baked goods that magically turn up in their kitchen overnight.
3) Their apartment becomes overrun by plants, because every time they pass by the local nursery, Steve can’t resist pulling over when Bucky comments about what’s on display up front.
Bucky becomes a plant Dad™ when it comes to caring for his plants. No, they’re not Steve’s plants because as Bucky puts it: “Every plant you touch, dies.”
It’s a little harsh, but it’s true. That rose bouquet Bucky surprised Steve with on their date at their favorite restaurant? Wilted the very next day. So Steve doesn’t touch the plants, at all. Instead, he funds Bucky’s hobby by buying every goddamn plant and flower under the sun. All the tools required too. Fancy looking plant plots, anything on Bucky’s Pinterest/Instagram feed/etc.
Oh and you know what else?? Bucky takes their spare room and turns it into a cozy reading room.
Not only would it have plants (duh) between a small sofa and a couple of leather chairs, but also a real wooden bookshelf to keep all of their books they start to collect from a local bookstore down the road. Cool looking rugs, accent pieces, fuzzy blankets, and footstools too.
Steve also has his own spot by the window to draw to his heart’s content. Eventually, they’d buy an easel and somehow figure out where exactly to put it because the room’s overrun by furniture and plants.
The room smells heavenly when Steve opens the door, only to find Bucky laying sideways on the couch with his head propped up with his flesh arm.
“Care to join me?” Bucky asks as he lowers his book down.
“Wouldn’t trade it for the world, Buck,” Steve replies, slipping in behind Bucky with his own book he’d chosen prior.
Thank you for coming to my SteveBucky headcanon ted talk!! Next week: Bucky’s mad obsession with Steve’s holy grail of an ass. (that is true and you know it)

Decided to look into my personality types/astrology/numerology stuff again so I could come up with a few methods for self care.
My life path number is 4, my ennegram number is 4w5, I am an ENFP, and a Libra rising/Leo sun/Taurus Moon.
Here's what my research uncovered:
Life path number 4
🦢In numerology, 4 is the number of stability, like the four corners of a square, the four traditional elements, the four seasons, or the four wheels of a car. It is a practical, functional number, associated with practical, functional people.
🦢You have a strong sense of ethics, and are not willing to compromise them for much.
🦢It is important that those on Life Path 4 find ways to relax and open up, especially about their ideas.
🦢Find hobbies that make you feel productive, even when you’re not working. Knitting or sewing can be great because the results are instantly visible. Blogging is also a very popular pastime, since it keeps 4s mentally stimulated while also allowing them to reflect a bit on their lives. (Cackling over this one)
Ennegram 4(w5)
🦢Remind yourself of what’s real and what you can count on. Don’t minimize your feelings, but think about the reality of the situation while empathizing with yourself.
🦢Set up some positive routines that will create a more peaceful atmosphere in your home.
🦢Reserve an hour to draw, paint, write, or express yourself and emerge feeling refueled and reinspired.
🦢Use a gratitude journal to record small joys to counteract heavier emotions and to keep you present in the moment.
🦢Stay hydrated, take walks outside, and roll out your yoga mat for daily stretching and meditation. Try Tai chi! (This helped my anxiety in the past. I should start up my sunrise Tai chi routine again.)
🦢 Make your bed every morning. This can help with motivation for a Type 4 that tends to avoid “trivial” tasks.
🦢Do the thing you have been wanting to do.  Do it without the added pressure of it needing to be everything you ever envisioned.  Create the painting; write the book; start the business; audition for the role.
🦢Find an external cause. Volunteer in your community. Serving others will help you see that beauty and fulfillment is not just found in pain.
ENFP (Myers Briggs)
🦢 Pick up that project you’ve been putting off, like assembling that piece or furniture or fixing your car.
🦢For ENFPs self-care often means taking care of the things they’ve neglected. (Gotta take out another loan for school, gotta practice for ballet, gotta send in my short stories to be published, etc)
🦢In order to be able to truly feel like themselves the ENFP needs to have some alone time, but also needs to experience something new with the people they love. Being around those who love and appreciate the ENFP is rewarding and fulfilling for them in many ways. They feed off of this positive energy and feel more like the best version of themselves once again.
Taurus 🌝
🦢Taurus Moons are deeply anchored in their bodies, so self-care will come in material or physical pleasures; think massages, hearty comfort food, and a great skincare ritual!
🦢Emotional self-care for this Earth sign means honoring that need for stability, and allowing themselves to adapt at their own pace.
🦢Set up the coziest lounge space you can imagine.
🦢Have your favorite comfort food delivered.
🦢Stream your favorite TV show, dive under the covers, and make sure your schedule is cleared for the rest of the day to relax sans responsibility.
🦢Try cooking up a nutritious meal, slipping into your silk pj’s, and incorporate a nourishing face serum as part of your evening ritual. Look for herbs like rose, thyme, and sage to ground you.
My own ideas:
🦢Take a trip to six flags.
🦢Go hiking around the little grand canyon.
🦢Try a new recipe.
🦢Deep clean my room.
🦢Make an updated spreadsheet of my values, morals and aspirations.
🦢Make a playlist for all my moods.
🦢Start my grimoire.
🦢Reread my favorite books from when I was younger: Judy Moody, Goosebumps (I didn't read these but did watch the movie and show), The Sisters Grimm, Magic Tree House, Dear America, My Sister is So Bossy She Says You Can't Read This Book, Gallagher girls, etc.
🦢Have a dance party by myself thrice a week.
🦢Start researching for my senior project.
🦢Work on editing my book.
🦢Self care day! Do my hair and nails, take myself out to a movie and then come home and have take out for dinner!
🦢Do a summer reading program like I did as a kid
🦢CREATE A TREEHOUSE/HIDEOUT SPOT IN THE BACKYARD
🦢Put up a tire swing in the backyard
🦢Work on my southern accent
🦢Write another play
🦢Try Polish food!
🦢Learn to sew!
🦢Press flowers
🦢Have a watch party with friends
🦢 Get braids!!
🦢Learn how to do really cool designs with friendship bracelets and sell them/buy a gumball machine and sell gum
🦢Practice dancing and singing
I'll add more to this list over the course of the summer. But I'm going to pin this post as a reminder for myself to choose one thing to work on a day and then post how everything went.
I'm super excited!!

What a fantastic day we had last Sunday at the BBQ with Monique and Jean-Claude, we sipped Champagne in the orchard garden, ate well, Richard had his cider and Monique, Jean-Claude and I sampled the delights of the Cotes du Rhone that I had taken. As always, the food I had taken was brought back home as there had been just so much else to eat, we did manage to make headways into my aperos and the pasta salad. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and that made the day even better. We explored the veg patch and then we were taken into the “sous-sol” while Jean-Claude packed up a drill and bits for us to have a go at assembling the furniture later in the week. When we left, I allowed Richard to drive a short distance just to give him the opportunity of driving on French roads in a left-hand drive car. We arrived home worn out by three busy days but having enjoyed ourselves just so much. Richard has enjoyed being in his lounger soaking up the sun. He has also been having lovely long walks. I had thought I could catch up with housework, washing etc and although I have done some of those jobs I have found that I have been rather tired in the afternoon and have had a little sleep in my chair. We had the plumber on Tuesday, to try and sort out why the upstairs loo is leaking. It is just a small leak but after a week it can be a small pool and I do not want to come back from my visit to England and find a bigger pool. He changed pipework from the loo and we believed it would be perfect. We didn’t use said loo until the following day and that evening, yes you have guessed it, there was water glistening at the base of the loo. I messaged the plumber and am waiting for him to contact me again. We had a little visitor to our garden, a teeny hedgehog, it was only about 5pm and he was walking quickly enough but kept tumbling over, my garden is quite uneven, but I don’t think it was just that. Richard googled and saw that sugar water should be given. We put some in a shallow tray and the little fella had some and then he was off. Richard said that at one point when he was near him he rolled into a ball and another time he could hear him crying……….Richard didn’t like hearing that! Wednesday morning Richard was up and out to catch the 10:20 train to Troyes. It is a heck of a walk from my home to the station so he set off at 9:30. By 9:50 he was there and had bought his ticket anyway he made a day of it and it was really nice for me to catch up on washing. Really housework etc is out of the window for me while Richard is here, we are just enjoying being together, it is a bit like the last few years I lived in England and also like a holiday we spent together at our mobile home. Richard is not bothered about being chauffeured here and then, he just wants to relax, eat, drink and spend time talking and laughing with his mum. Thursday, after Marie-Therese had called Richard announced that he was going to walk to Arsonval, a village about 7.5kms away, he set off and walked it all, calling into the bar before returning home. Wow he is doing some walking but that is good for anyone isn’t it. On Thursday afternoon I had tried to start assembling one of the units, Richard was not happy about me doing it as he said he would have done it. Anyway by Saturday it was all finished and is now in my bedroom. Just another one of those and then the large cupboard then the furniture will have all been assembled. Friday saw Monique calling to drop off 2kg of cherries and a pintade (guinea fowl) then we headed off to class. By the time we came home my head was banging, the two young Pakistani girls were so full of chatter, I was listening to Monique speaking, translating then doing their responses back to her, plus trying to explain and write in French, I was exhausted. Saturday was wet when we woke up, we just had a relaxing day, although we did go to the shops for extra provisions. I cooked the pintade for our evening meal. It took longer to cook than recipes suggested (maybe as I only have a mini oven), Richard said he he hoped he would like it but it was a big success with both of us. Richard had put the tv on in the morning and there was a petanque competition between Italy and Morocco, wow did we get into that! It is very hot and sunny now and so I am typing this blog and Richard is on his lounger sunbathing, I guess this is going to be another lazy day. Well, this week has all been about spending quality time with my son, we have until Thursday next week when he returns to England and we are going to do the tourist thing in Paris on Wednesday. Wish us luck everyone, the temperatures here are due to be high 30’s and I know that Paris is expecting 40 degrees sometime this next week. Photo’s courtesy of Richard. A bientot. .

A raised inflatable mattress is better than routine inflatable bed mattress in several methods. They are usually assembled better and have bonded seams. A Recipe For Living Air
If I had bought a solo tent, I would have missed out on much camaraderie and versatility. Any bigger and dragging that thing around would have been too inconvenient. That bit of additional space was terrific to have when the weather condition kept me holed up inside and when hitchhiking. I was pleased to trade off the additional 16 ounces for the convenience outdoors online . When the unanticipated 4 inches of snow fell in June or a howling wind storm came down at midnight out of the mountains, the strength of that well-engineered little dome camping tent never ever let me down.
A lot of factors should be taken into account before purchasing a mattress. If you want to roll around, and enjoy your bed alone, then purchasing a queen size air mattress alternative is great for you. It is inexpensive and benefits a person who enjoys to travel. Queen size air mattress alternativees are really practical and they can be carried or moved around the house.

Prepping Your Holiday Guest Room
Yuni Min from Love Your Abode gets her guest room ready to entertain, and host guests this holiday season. Read through the post to find out more!
Getting the Guest Room Ready for the Holidays
When I think about the holidays, my favorite memories always center around spending time with the people I love. Since we host and have quite a few people stay in our home throughout the year including our foster children, I love creating a cozy space that welcomes all of our guests. Thanks to The Home Depot and their beautifully stylish and comfortable home line, I was able to make our guest room ready. I’m sharing a few simple tips on how to create a guest room that is both equally stylish and inviting.
Tip 1: Make a Comfortable Bed
A few touches can truly help make your guests feel special and pampered and I think the most important one is helping them get good sleep. Don’t you just want to jump into this bed?
The navy quilt and shams are wonderful quality and you could easily use it for warmer weather as well for layering during the colder season. I love that it is available in bunch of different colors and has amazing reviews. The quilting on it is classic and a great staple on your bed throughout the year.
Tip 2: Provide the essentials and something extra
First of all, do you just drool over this nightstand? I practically did when I saw it online and then when it arrived, it was even better! Campaign styled furniture can be pretty pricey but these are not only gorgeous and well made, they are a great price. The gold hardware on them adds a nice modern touch and it arrived fully assembled. I was completely blown away by the choices that The Home Depot now offers to decorate and furnish your home.
It’s always nice when you stay at someone’s house and you don’t have to constantly ask for another towel. I like that these nightstands have open shelves so guests can easily utilize whatever is there for them. A little basket of toiletries is also a nice gesture just in case your guests forgot their toothpaste, conditioner, etc. I added face masks, lavender essential oil and other items that will hopefully allows guests to fully relax and feel like they are on vacation.
I loved this canvas of the Rome city skyline that I discovered online at The Home Depot. It reminded me of my recent trip to Italy a couple of months ago. The colors go perfectly in here and they had so many different city skylines available. My home isn’t Italy but I still want guests to feel like they are away from home and can relax and unwind as if they were.
The sleek Safavieh white and gold rimmed lamp provides additional lighting for guests. It complements the nightstand perfectly.
Tip 3: Add a bowl or tray for catchall items
I adore this gilded sea glass bowl and think it is a perfect place for guests to throw their keys and jewelry into it. I like that it’s large enough to hold valuable items and keep them all in one place.
Tip 4: Add fresh flowers or faux greenery
I discovered some fabulous decorative items like this vase that actually comes in a trio set along with the mirrored tray with gold handles. I just added a candle and a faux pick to the vase to add some holiday cheer.
I also hung a simple faux wreath above the bed and put out flowers on the nightstand. Flowers and plants always add life to a space and help make a room feel even more lived in. A medium sized fig plant  adds color and ambience to the bedroom.
Tip 5: Share your laundry room
When guests come over, we always ask if they want to use our washer and dryer. I found this braided laundry basket and placed it at the corner of the bed. This allows guests to put all their dirty laundry in one area. A benefit to letting guests do laundry is so that it’s one less thing they have to deal with when returning home. I think it’s a small gesture of hospitality that makes guests feel more comfortable.
Tip 6: Think of small details
Add extra reading materials and if there’s space for it, a place to sit.
An extra set of pillows and a throw blanket is also a nice touch to the room. This linen throw is beautiful at the foot of the bed but practical for guests to use as well.
A rug like this one grounds the space and pulls the room together. It adds that extra layer of coziness and makes the room feel warm and comfortable. The colors on it are absolutely beautiful.
Tip 7: Be available
My last tip has nothing to do with design but all about being available to your guests. You could have the most perfectly styled room that can still feel completely cold and uninviting. I believe it’s all about our hearts and how we welcome people into our homes. The cozy bedroom is just the cherry on top if we generously open our hearts to those who enter inside our homes.
I am so excited to share this newly decorated room with my sister’s family who will be our first guests during Christmas. The Home Depot recently partnered with me on gifting her family a Winter Wonderland in her home. Thank you to The Home Depot for creating an equally stylish and comfortable bedroom for all our future guests.
Be sure to follow along with me on Instagram where I share lots of decorating tips, recipes and DIY projects.
