Full schedule on the smoker today. Started off late this morning with some jalapeno poppers for lunch/Indy500, then she spent the mid-afternoon smoking some eggs (not pictured) for this week. At around 3p I put on some wings to bathe in the smoke for about 2 hours before flash frying them to crispy-skinned perfection. If you cook for multiple people or like to cook larger amounts this is the pellet grill to go for. A little higher in price than most other brands but I think that compared to the quality and what you get it is worth the money you pay for it. Even though there are two meat probes to help you cook some killer meat I still suggest you to have a fast digital pocket thermometer to help you out and double check.

The Rec Tec Stamped rt-590 review we did told us that it is what you could call a family size pellet grill with its 592 Sq inches. This might look small, but is big enough for even a large family. With the optional grate you can total the cooking space of the Stamped to 772 sq inches.

All the stainless steel components are in my opinion a big plus and with the use of a grill cover this grill will last for many years. The grill space is large enough for a normal family and can be upgraded with the optional extra grill grate.

Overall we could not find any negative points and can only recommend it as a good by and bang for your bucks! Unfortunately not available in online stores yet so you have to purchase through the Rec Tec Website.

Tri-Tip today in celebration of the Buckeyes demoralizing the Hoosiers. Let it sit in a dry brine of kosher salt for about 30 minutes, then rinsed. Layer of SPG, followed by a layer of BBQ rub. Smoked at 235 until the internal temperature reached 115. Pulled it off and wrapped in foil while I waited for the the @rectecgrills RT-700 (The Bull) to reach 600, then seared it for 4 minutes each side. Returned to the foil wrap for a 10 minute rest, then sliced. So delicious and so juicy. If you can find Tri-Tip, I highly recommend it.
