Most of my wildflowers aren't blooming yet, but fortunately, my red-flowering currant (Ribes sanguineum) was ready for this yellow-fronted bee (Bombus flavifrons) queen! Queens come out early in the spring, so having some native flowers ready for them is a big help. They need that energy!
