We’ve all heard of the phrase, “I’m a lover, not a fighter.”… Well, Dorcas took that phrase in her hand with a white knuckled grip and said, “Why not both?” She is full of love and life, loving to tease those she deems close. You can’t help but be drawn into Dorcas. She carries herself with an air of welcoming and joy. However, mess with the ones she loves (especially her mother and father) and she will knock you flat on your ass.

She tries to comes across as caring and earnest, and that’s because she is. But, just like everyone else, she has her secrets. Her home life is something she keeps very private. The mask she wears around them is very carefully put together. Afraid of what would if she took one wrong step. The world she built so carefully with them… or for them, could come crashing down. She couldn’t live with herself if something happened to them due to her irresponsibility.

Dorcas caught my eye in the sense of her fierce need to protect. There is something about a lady who can smile and get along with everyone, but also put you in your place that makes me want to do them justice. Dorcas to me is, a leader and a follower. Stepping up when needed and also being able to take orders, which I feel is quality most people don’t have due to their pride. She wants to be a warmth that pours over those closest to her.

TWO / THE MOON. * Which color would you associate most strongly with them and the emotions that dominate them? Describe however you’d like.

Red. The color of love, passion, anger. People associate yellow with warmth, and while that isn’t wrong. Yellow is like a blanket, it could easily be yanked out from under you. Red is consistent. You don’t have to worry about red leaving you. Blood. Wine. Roses. The sunset. An Eclipse. Red is the most human color. It’s a double sided coin. Anger and love. You cannot have one human without both. Dorcas, tries to find that balance. There is a time and a place for everything, and she’s trying to learn that.

Dorcas excels in group dynamics. She likes learning what makes people tick and how to keep them together. The frame of the car if you will. She loves to make people happy. Sort of nitpicky in a sense. The thing about trying to rally a group of people is, there can be tension. Everyone has their own opinion on things. Dorcas knows how to drain that tension away and get everyone in the right direction.
