19. sajandi lõpus ja 20. sajandi alguses kuulus drag Eestis näiteks rebasteatri juurde. Tartu Ülikooli tudengikorporatsioonidel oli traditsiooniks hilissügiseti nn rebasteatri korraldamine. Meeleolukates ja päevakajalistes etendustes rakendati näitlejatena eeskätt korbi noorliikmeid ehk rebaseid.

1933. aastal Rahvalehes ilmunud artikliteseerias „Lilla õudus” toodi välja Tallinnas tegutsenud kohtumispaigad nagu kultuuriklubi Must Roos ja Tereese Loss ehk Richard Valdaku kodu, kus peeti lisaks pidudele ka homoseksuaalsete meeste “pulmi”. „Lilla õuduse“ järgi kutsuti selles seltskonnas kõiki mehi naisenimedega ning Valdakut tunti Tereesena, kes laulatustseremooniaid läbi viis. Tema juures ja teisteski kodudes peeti pidusid, kus mehed kehastusid parukaid ja kleite kandes tantsijannadeks ja lauljatarideks. [22]

1990. aastatel ilmus Õhtulehes Argo Kasela reportaaž Eesti parimate suudlejate võistlusest klubis Dekoltee, kus mitmed paarid olid valinud võistlusel osalemiseks endale kostüümid. Ajakirjanik kirjeldas sündmust nii: „Kiljed tõusid haripunkti siis, kui lavale astusid kaks poissi, kes etendasid ehtsa gayshow. Now is the time for all interested candidates to submit their REET 2022 application. The deadline for making modifications to an online application is August 18, 2022. Candidates can visit the office to make changes to the application form.

The online application form correction window for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) 2022 exam had already been announced by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education on May 25, 2022. (RBSE). Any modifications or revisions to the previously filed REET online form may be made by candidates using the REET form correction 2022 tool.

The REET 2022 application deadline has been extended by the Rajasthan Education Board.
