it is only through kate's influence that anthony finds himself a more patient and relaxed man. her appearance in his life, although initially infuriating, has been somewhat of a tonic for him. but still, despite his more calmed outlook on life, there are still moments when his temper becomes insufferable. on such a particular night, with hyacinth and gregory apparently on the warparth, he finds himself out on an evening stroll, the night air proving a pleasant detox from the stressors of bridgerton house.

he doesn't recognise the home that she's leaving, but the sudden appearance of regina george this late at night does not bode well for her reputation. admittedly, he doesn't not know the girl, or her family, entirely too well. she may be a friend of eloise's, he thinks? either way, he's almost certain that he's seen her in his home before, at least once or twice. ‘ i am privy to a great many secrets, miss george. you need have no fear that i am in the habit of sharing them. ’
