currently thinking about undertale......and how undertale’s story premise was actually so simple and compact (even with three different routes and some lore) and yet fans turned it into a massive multiverse of au’s and different characters and conspiracy theories and a whole webshow about the different universes in ONE.

it’s been 4 years since i got into undertale and somehow, i NEVER found out about this til recently. which is weird bc i was very interested in wd gaster and read a lot of theories i just skated past all this for some reason. and now that i’m older and am revisiting the game, i feel like my brain is slowly turning into mush the more i learn about the AU’s and crossovers......... why are there so many selfcest ships........... why is wd gaster shipped with grillby........... what the fuck is disbelief!papyrus and why does his genocide battle animation have 20 million views on YT..................... WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA TO MAKE AN ANIMATED WEBSERIES WHERE ALL THE DIFFERENT AU’S COLLIDED + A PREQUEL SERIES FOCUSING ON FRYSK AND CHARA AND WHY DOES IT ACTUALLY LOOK GOOD. I FEEL LIKE MY BRAIN IS CRYING.

ye Diamond is Unbreakable/DiU is Part 4; and that's part of the reason since Stands are way more versatile and interesting, but also the character writing gets a lot better and more fleshed out in Part 4 and beyond, like characters get more fleshed out in terms of personality and relationships, and the blacks and whites of Jonathan and Dio get more grey spots, like Jotaro being a rough delinquent with a good moral compass or Part 5 being set in the Italian mafia

That’s good to hear! There’s also a murder mystery from what I hear! I’m interested in the Stands and how they are utilized, it seems like it’ll def scratch the itch I’ve been wishing Persona would scratch for awhile. DX I think I heard Pt 5 (blonde jojo? gio?) is really grey/interesting?.....at least from what I remember Supereyepatchwolf describing it (I’ve watched his vids but I legit don’t remember a whole lot in terms of spoilers ldfkjssajf;aj).
