important question what do u think would r & s majors or jobs/careers be in a muggle setting (modern or not)?

ooo hm im not sure!! ive thought about their degrees (thats the same as majors right? a major in america is basically ur degree subject in the uk i think?) a little bit but its pretty basic...probably as always i am projecting with remus when i say i always put him in smthn like politics/philosophy/history (have seen him doing classics degrees in fics also!!). sirius i find a bit more difficult to pin down...in a muggle setting i sort of imagine some of his a levels being dictated by what his friends (james) take but when i was picking a degree for him in aofgwm i ended up going for art history...although really i never quite settled on anything that screamed sirius to me i think i like the art thing the most :-//

career-wise im even less certain...i know in fics i hate hate hate when sirius is written as an auror/trainee auror because frankly he would never b a cop ever lol and depicting him as some sort of punk and then making him work for the ministry is baffling to me. and remus i guess ive always accepted the teacher thing because of canon?? although in a muggle au it might have to be higher education rather than secondary school because i just dont think he would do that to himself. id say journalism or something in the research field also maybe but i really am projecting now xx a critic of some sort would be a fun job for both of them!! have read fics where sirius works as a critic/smthn like that for music publications which is cool :-)) but im not sure!! i feel like any field can work if the characterisations are good i guess i just gravitate towards the kinda stuff im into :-))
