Not So Berry: Generation 1. Mint

Jarvian also bought a woodworking bench, so he can start making some amazing things with his hands. Jarvian is definitely the full-blown outdoorsy type. I think gardening and woodworking is definitely his cup of tea. I’m excited to do more with the woodworking bench in game too because it’s been a long time since I’ve even used it.

I managed to get some Sims time in this morning! Yay! Maria had quite a full day of skill building today actually. Most of it was quite unintentional too though. After breakfast, Maria did a workout video to stay in shape and to progress in her fitness goals. Then, she went to wash some dishes and the dishwasher broke. Instead of calling in a repair person, Maria decided to try and solve the problem herself. She spent a great deal of her afternoon working on it before having to rush off to work, but here’s a picture of her in her cute purple scuba gear after a job well done with repairing the dishwasher. 

I would also like to add that Maria ended up achieving her third promotion in the diver career as well. So, we made all sorts of progress today and I am totally here for that!

I didn’t get a lot of photos from the kava party for whatever reason, but I did get this picture of Maria making the kava right after starting the party. We just had a small little party at our house where we invited all our friends and Sergio, of course. Things at the party actually got a little hectic, which is why I guess I didn’t get that many cute screenshots, but our bathtub and sink broke right before and during the party, so Maria had to fix those because we don’t believe in paying people to repair it when we can just fix it ourselves XD. So anyway, our repair skill went up because of that. I don’t know what we’re at currently, but I’ll post an update of all the skills and where they’re at in the near future. I know that during the party, we got our charisma skill up to a level 5, so we’re also halfway done with that skill. And we wrapped up the party at Gold, so that part of the Island Living aspiration is complete and we got a cool little reward for getting gold as well. Unfortunately, I had to take a vacation day for Maria because the party took longer than I expected it to and now we’re off work for the next three days? Is it a good idea to try and figure out how to become a mermaid or something in these next three days? I mean...it’s that or something soon because we’re aging up day by day.

Not So Berry: Generation 1. Mint

After Jarvian got back home from work (Misty was off the day after the Flower Dance) he decided to do some woodworking. Misty had spent all day thinking about her feelings toward Jarvian. Needless to say, she came to a conclusion XD.

Some other things that happened after Maria maxed out the diver career and returned home that evening was the roommate broke our toilet! And even though, Maria had spent all afternoon fixing the dishwasher, she knew she had to get the toilet fixed as well because our roommate certainly wasn’t going to fix the problem. (Now, I don’t think your roommates in the game can fix/repair things they break or call repair personnel, but it fits my story that she’s a horrible roommate anyway, so we’re going to roll with it regardless). 

The air tank and the mermaid chest were career rewards Maria got for maxing out the diver career, so I placed the items down in her room. I just got to say, the texture on the mermaid chest is like super atrocious XD. But, it is a pretty cool reward for maxing out the career. I thought the part time careers maxed at level 5, but this one maxed out at level 3, so now it is time to find a new career for her. I’m not sure what we’ll do yet for sure, but I’m thinking it might also be time to move in with Sergio, so that storyline wise, it would make sense for Maria to leave a job that she does enjoy in order to make a bit more money and to find fulfillment once her and Sergio live in Windenburg together. 

Also, fixing the toilet got Maria’s repair skill up to level 2, so that’s good!

Not So Berry: Generation 1. Mint

Things are breaking in Misty’s house pretty much every single day now XD. But, Jarvian is getting his repair skill up, so I am not going to complain.

You’ve got to be kidding me XD. Well, poor Maribel broke the toilet today before work, so we had to repair it because we obviously don’t have any money to replace things or to call a repair man. We’re all just doing our best here XD.
