Project Path Action, a progress report + New 2024 Art Challenge!

As of today, we've had 25 of ~202 Path Actions drawn and complete, and 60 WIPs have been seen as well!

Thank you all for the dedication to the idea! It has been such a joy to see all the different artists tackle each pose!

The goal is to hopefully have this project complete by the 6th Anniversary of our beloved series, Octopath Traveler.

I suppose a better way to say it is "caught up" as it is ever growing when new Travelers get added to CotC.

There are still many Travelers available to claim, so if anyone of these Travelers sticks out to you, please send me a message, I'd love to add you as part of the Project! Please read the guidelines if you are a new person to it.

Currently the limit is 5 Travelers + 1 Add-On Character, but this is subject to change in the future.

Now here's some information about the new 2024 Art Challenge!

As an artist and Octopath Traveler fan, I've enjoyed participating in a Monthly Job Project. I've participated in it for 5 years (4 if we do not count 2022, it was done differently).

I've created a Form for brainstorming character ideas and keeping note on what characters people are consider. Do check it out if this is an idea you might want to do. The challenge will mostly be on Twitter, I will make sure to retweet and advertise all months there.

That said, here are some from my previous years of the Job Project. Perhaps it may inspire you to join in and grow as an artist!

The idea of the art challenge is to choose a character to draw every month in a different job design following the Orsterra god order by month. Here is the order if you are unfamiliar, Solistia is involved as well, but it is following the advanced jobs via closest design not gameplay.

Anyway, I wanted to share this as it may interest a few of you artists, and I am happy to have the idea be more known from others aside from just myself and my close friends. Several people have already filled out the form and shared what characters they might be interested in.
