Anche lei è stata reclusa nella perrera di Mazarrón per almeno di 6 mesi e per lei è stata particolarmente dura. Julia ha un anno e mezzo, è un mix podenco/pastore, è vaccinata, chippata, con passaporto europeo e sterilizzata. Purtroppo Julia è risultata positiva alla Leishmaniosi: ha già ricevuto un trattamento con Glucantime ed è ora in trattamento con allopurinolo. Julia è molto dolce e come la sorella non mostra, al momento istinto predatorio: è un pochino timida all'inizio con le persone, ma poi si lascia conquistare in fretta..... Update on Moromi 🐾 After carrying out her blood investigations we found out that her hemoglobin was very low due to which we had to postpone her surgery. Moromi was given iron supplements for 5 days, her hemoglobin became better & finally the doctor gave a green light for the surgery.💊 The surgery started out fine but after about one hour the Doctor called up our volunteer Ankita & told her that Moromis condition is quite serious & her ovaries are completely damaged therefore there were some complications in her uterus too 😕 It was a major surgery that lastes more than 2 hrs. The doctor informed Ankita that for the next 72 hrs are critical. For the next 3 days, Moromi’s situation was delicate ... But our volunteers have been very careful with her, watching over Moromi day and night 🌅🌃 It’s all the care and love that has made Moromi survive this critical phase. Repost @carefordogsro --- Last week we rescued from the killing shelter, this week we are also going there. There were a lot of emergencies on the streets as well. We are full. We are happy that in Friday some of the dogs go to their forever or foster homes! No matter what we plan to do in a day, there are always going to be a mother with some puppies, a very injured dog that people ignore, an oldie abandoned in the rain. Some days feel like the suffering will never end. And some days we see the dogs we took care of being adopted. We see them enjoying an amazing life together with some amazing people and it's making our work here in Romania worth it. It makes everything easier. It gives us confidence that things can change. We are often out cleaning up trash in the ocean, but today we are excited to spread awareness with @WestPawUS by helping to announce that they are launching Seaflex—their first collection of dog toys and dog feeding accessories made partly from ocean-bound plastics!

Not only are these toys helping to keep plastic out of the ocean but they are FUN.

(I’m playing with their new Snorkl here, a gift from West Paw themselves, and it is an absolute blast to fetch and bury at the beach.)
