i truly like the concept behind dungeon meshi where it's about a hypothetical magic affecting the real life framework of evolution and such.. but ever since i took a class on evolutionary biology, it bothers me so so much that the driving factor of evolution presented in the manga is food and survival or natural selection, rather than sexual selection.... it really isn't that big of a deal but also it's literally the basic principle of evolution... so i can't help thinking about it.

WITH A DESIRE TO EAT...#and it's like i love it. but all life definitely definitely 100% began with a desire to procreate 😭#i just feel mean as fuck saying this cause the manga is so good but daaamn i have to just hang up my thinking cap to appreciate it
