People ask why I have so many nibs. I tell them I don't really have that many nibs. But I had to do a test of my nibs to find the highs and lows of each nib. Spider Queen page 9 inks. The Dr. Martin's works much better. Less cleanup work in Photoshop. That doesn't mean there aren't still problems but that's from my degraded vision and not spotting the white holes after I ink. Been practicing with my Series 7 sable brushes (00, 0, 2) and my Resterbrook nibs (048 & 442). They make ink enjoyable unlike trying to ink digitally. I also enjoy them much more than the Microns (and other fiber pens.) I still pull them out occasionally, but not too often. But I've noticed a problem with my ink. It's an old bottle of Higgins Eternal which I think has gone bad. Need to replace it as soon as possible. I'm still acclimating back to traditional tools after more than a decade of working digitally. #resterbrooknibs #series7brushes #penandink #makegoodart
