Tropical cake from @cimakethings Happy Weekend! Today is the #restingbeachfacecollab hosted by the fun and funky bakers @bossbabebakes.ca and @sugarwillowcakes 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️ . . . . . The object of today was to introduce the face behind the bakes and post a bake that represents us. I went with this cake for multiple reasons. First, I made it for myself for Mothers Day. How often do we get to eat our own cakes?? Second, this represents me, because I love trying new things. This cake was my 1st time using icing sheets (@sugarartcanada 😘), 1st time using noodles on a cake (the hibiscus center), and 1st time piping a hibiscus flower. I love challenging myself (hence the reason I'm terribly addicted to collabs🙈).
