Queer Eye’d

Kemarin sore mulai nonton Queer Eye Season 6 di Netflix dan argh, lupa banget sensasi nonton series ini yang memang sehangat itu. Minimal berkaca-kaca di tiap episodenya. Kangen juga nontonin cowo-cowo kekar dan super well-groomed tapi begitu MANIS ngalah-ngalahin anak remaja pengguna Emina. Tiap kali mereka muncul di layar dan menyapa si orang yang nantinya akan mereka make over, dunia seakan diisi oleh unicorn, pelangi, permen dan juga glitter. Positif banget. 

Kalau lagi butuh extra uplift di hari yang terasa gloomy, nonton Queer Eye bener-bener kayak ngasih kepercayaan lagi sama dunia. Bikin hati hangat. 

Premisnya sederhana sih, orang-orang mempromote orang terdekat mereka yang dirasa membutuhkan 360 makeover dalam hidup mereka. Masing-masing Fab 5 punya perannya masing-masing. Tan pegang fashion, Bobby desain interior (I swear he works the hardest), Antoni makanan, Jonathan grooming, dan Karamo sebagai ‘culture expert’. Basically, Karamo yang meng-ignite obrolan heart to heart yang paling sering bikin cirambay😭 tp jujur semua interaksinya begitu pure dan manis. Adegan paling sering bikin nangis juga adalah pas orang-orang ini melihat penampilan baru mereka di cermin setelah beres di-make over sama Jonathan. So precious😭😭😭😭

Yang menurutku indah banget dari Queer Eye adalah bagaimana the Fab 5 ini mengajarkan masing-masing orang untuk mencintai dirinya sendiri. Kebanyakan klien mereka adalah orang-orang terlalu sibuk yang tidak punya waktu untuk mengurus diri mereka sendiri. Mungkin kesannya superficial banget ya, emangnya hidup akan otomatis jadi lebih mudah ketika rambut rapi? Ketika pake baju fashionable? Ketika kamu bisa masak satu hidangan di island yang baru di-remake sampai jadi selevel restoran mewah?

But the outside does matter. Karamo bilang bahwa mereka hanya membantu supaya their outside reflects what’s on the inside :-) There’s no need to feel guilty in treating yourself and taking care about how you look. 

Aku juga suka banget gimana make over yang diberikan oleh masing-masing Fab 5 sangatlah thoughtful. Mereka nggak mencoba untuk merubah secara drastis, 180 derajat. Tapi mereka berdialog, selalu bertanya tentang output apa yang para klien mereka inginkan. Ada juga yang resisten, dan mereka selalu open untuk bertemu di tengah. Berkompromi. Kalau mereka nggak nyaman untuk mengubah warna rambut secara drastis, Jonathan fine-fine saja. Make over jadinya hanya mencakup potong dan styling rambut. Begitu pula dengan Tan. Dia tanya, ketika kamu dilihat oleh orang asing di jalanan, kamu ingin mereka berpikir apa tentang dirimu? And he went from there. 

It’s just beautiful. I also love how they’re so unapologetically them every. single. time.

CHRONIQUE SÉRIE #4 : FIRST KILL SAISON 1 DISPONIBLE SUR NETFLIX La série First Kill est une série de vampires et chasseurs de vampires avec en vedette @sarahcatherine.hook et @mochabands un couple lesbien ! J'ai vraiment aimé le premier épisode, par contre la suite des épisodes sont assez prévisible on a pas forcément de "surprises", c'est une série qui ce regarde une fois. J'ai essayé de la re regarder en me disant que j'étais pas concentrée la première fois. Pour être sûr de ne rien loupé... Mais après le premier épisode j'ai changé. Review Serial: Baby (Italia), Rasa Ingin Tahu Remaja yang Berhujung ke Dunia Prostitusi

Apa hal ternakal yang pernah kamu lakukan ketika masa SMA?

Masa remaja, khususnya SMA, merupakan masa-masa pencarian jati diri. Kerap kali para remaja mencoba hal-hal baru yang membuatnya penasaran selama ini. Namun, bagaimana jika mereka mengisi masa-masa terakhir menjadi seorang siswa itu dengan hal-hal yang berisiko?

“Cobalah hal baru, dan keluar dari zona nyaman,” mereka bilang. 

Serial drama Netflix Italia “Baby” turut menyumbangkan tontonan segar di tengah maraknya serial dengan tema skandal remaja masa kini. Chiara (Benedetta Porcaroli) merupakan salah satu murid di sekolah elit di Roma, Italia, dan juga seorang putri dari seorang politisi. Di luar dari hidupnya yang bergelimang harta, Chiara kerap kali merasa bosan dengan privilese yang ia miliki tersebut dan tertekan karena kondisi orang tuanya yang ditombak perceraian. Ia memiliki rencana untuk mengikuti program pertukaran pelajar ke Amerika Serikat bersama sahabatnya, Camilla (Chabeli Sastre Gonzalez). Namun persahabatan mereka kandas ketika Camilla mengetahui bahwa Chiara selama ini menjadi perempuan selingkuhan kakaknya, Niccolo (Lorenzo Zurzolo).Rencana untuk pertukaran pelajar ke Amerika Serikat pun kandas. 

Retaknya persahabatannya dengan Camilla, dan juga merebaknya berita perselingkuhan Niccolo dengan Chiara, membuat dirinya menjadi pusat pembicaraan satu sekolah. Kemudian Chiara mulai berteman dengan Ludovica (Alice Pagani), seorang murid satu sekolah dengannya, yang juga pernah jadi bulan-bulanan satu sekolah karena video skandal seks dengan mantan kekasihnya yang beredar di sekolah. Mereka pun mulai menjalin pertemanan yang erat, dan melakukan hal bersama-sama, seperti belanja dan berpesta bersama. Walaupun bersekolah di sekolah yang sama dengan Chiara, Ludovica tidak datang dari keluarga kaya raya. Bahkan ia sempat diancam akan dikeluarkan oleh kepala sekolah karena menunggak biaya selama berbulan-bulan. 

Rasa penasaran dan mencoba hal baru

Masa remaja merupakan masa-masa dimana rasa penasaran dan ingin mencoba hal-hal baru sangat menggelora. Masalah yang datang dari sekolah dan juga keluarga, membuat kedua perempuan 16 tahun itu mulai mencoba hal-hal baru di luar sekolah. Chiara dan Ludovica mulai bolos sekolah, berpesta hingga larut malam, dan terjebak dalam dunia prostitusi. Kedua sahabat itu mulai masuk ke lingkaran pertemanan baru yang diisi oleh orang dewasa. Saverio (Paolo Calabresi) dan Fiore (Giuseppe Maggio) merupakan para mucikari yang menyediakan jasa layanan prostitusi kepada para kliennya. Pada saat inilah, Chiara dan Ludovica mulai mencoba menjadi seorang perempuan bayaran, yang mana merupakan sebuah tindak ilegal, mengingat mereka masih dibawah umur. 

Kehidupan yang rahasia

Chiara dan Ludovica seakan memiliki kedua kehidupan yang berbeda pada siang dan malam hari. Mereka berusaha menutupi kehidupan gemerlap malam mereka bersama para mucikari dan klien mereka dari kehidupan keluarga dan sekolah mereka di siang hari. Chiara juga menyimpan rahasia bahwa dirinya adalah seorang perempuan bayaran dari sang kekasih, Damiano (Riccardo Mandolini), seorang anak dari duta besar Lebanon di Roma, Italia. 

Tak hanya Chiara dan Ludovica yang memiliki rahasia dalam kehidupannya. Niccolo, selepas kasus perselingkuhannya dengan Chiara usai, ia menjalin hubungan dengan guru olahraganya, Monica (Claudia Pandolfi), yang mana juga ibu tiri dari Damiano. Brando (Mirko Trovato), sahabat dari Niccolo, mengalami fase denial bahwa dirinya menyukai sesama jenis. Ia merahasiakan orientasi seksualnya hingga akhir musim serial ini. Namun sepanjang musim, rahasia dari setiap karakter satu persatu terungkap. Tentu kejadian tersebut tidaklah menyenangkan bagi mereka. 

Mengatasi masalah dan menerima keadaan 

Semua karakter di serial “Baby” cenderung ceroboh dalam memutuskan pilihan dalam masa remajanya. Kondisi pertemanan dan keluarga yang tidak mendukung, membuat mereka melakukan skandal yang menjadi elemen manis dan pahit pada masa-masa terakhir mereka mengenakan seragam sekolah ini. Pada musim ketiga, masing-masing dari karakter di serial ini satu persatu mulai berani menghadapi dan mengatasi masalah yang mereka perbuat, serta menerima keadaan yang ada, seperti orientasi seksual. Brando, yang dahulu menyembunyikan orientasi seksualnya, akhirnya berani go-public bersama kekasihnya, Fabio (Brando Pacitto). 

Serial “Baby” memperlihatkan betapa pentingnya pilihan remaja di usia rentannya, dimana rasa penasaran ingin mencoba hal-hal baru sangat membara. Para karakter di serial ini merupakan potret sebagian besar remaja di dunia, khususnya Italia, yang mana masih mencari jati diri dan cenderung ceroboh dalam mengambil aksi. Namun yang terpenting dari serial ini adalah, setiap masalah yang diperbuat dipertanggung jawabkan dengan baik oleh sang karakter. Mulai dari berurusan dengan pengadilan, hingga tempat penahanan khusus remaja. Di luar dari skandal-skandal yang diperbuat di serial ini, para karakter tetap melanjutkan prioritas utamanya, yaitu studi sekolah menengahnya. Ludovica yang kerap kali diremehkan oleh para temannya, berhasil membuktikan bahwa dirinya mampu untuk lulus SMA. Ia pun berhasil meneruskan cita-citanya menjadi seorang seniman dengan melanjutkan studi di salah satu institut seni di Perancis. 

“Keep moving forward” - Tuntaskan masalah yang diperbuat sampai selesai, kemudian bangkitlah dan kembali berjalan ke depan. Perjalanan hidup masih panjang, ada mimpi-mimpi yang harus dicapai. 

Kisah manis dan pahit persahabatan masa remaja

Persahabatan antara Chiara dan Ludovica pun tak luput dari sorotan dalam serial ini. Perjalanan mereka memang tidak semulus persahabatan lainnya. Berulang kali mereka bertengkar dan tidak berbicara satu sama lain. Namun pada akhirnya, mereka kembali bersama dan menuntaskan masalahnya bersama-sama. Tak disangka, Chiara yang kehilangan sahabat lamanya, Camilla, bisa bertemu sahabat baru, yaitu Ludovica yang membuat masa remajanya semakin berwarna, yang akan dikenang sepanjang hidup. Pada akhir musim, mereka berpisah untuk mengejar mimpinya masing-masing.

Netflix aja dulu memberikan nilai 9/10 untuk serial “Baby”

Serial “Baby” ini sangat direkomendasikan untuk ditonton oleh kalangan di atas usia 16 tahun. Pesan moral yang disampaikan oleh serial ini juga dapat menjadi pelajaran bagi para remaja untuk jangan ceroboh dan dapat bertanggung jawab atas semua pilihan yang diambil pada masa remajanya.

Buen provecho

Serie: Hannibal (NBC) Temporada: 03 Capítulo: 01 (”Antipasto”) Disclamer: Contiene spoilers de todo el capítulo.

Volvió Hannibal. Tan visualmente hermosa y atrapante como siempre. Eso sí, si los cliffhangers del final de la temporada pasada te habían dejado manija...ahora estás peor porque de Will Graham ni noticia.

El capítulo decidió centrarse en una de las últimas grandes revelaciones que tuvo la temporada dos: La historia de Bedelia Du Maurier. El personaje de Gillian Anderson se mostró en todo su esplendor y en sus múltiples facetas...ahora está acompañando a Hannibal en Europa, donde tratan de armar su vida entrando en nuevos círculos de intelectuales y esas cosas que le encantan al psiquiatra (porque puede desplegar toda su megalomanía y seguir agrandando su ego)...y donde ocasionalmente encuentra comida nueva.

Si se armó como un contínuo juego de idas y vueltas entre flashbacks y el presente fue para construir con mayor efectividad la historia de Bedelia. Mientras que la psiquiatra va se va desarmando mentalmente y sucumbe cada vez más a las manipulaciones de Hannibal, los flashbacks nos muestran cómo se fue desarmando Abel...literalmente. En deliciosas (sí, deliciosas) charlas el doctor va perdiendo sus piernas y sus brazos (quedará su torso completamente expuesto cual pieza de museo al mismo tiempo en que Bedelia queda totalmente expuesta frente a Hannibal). La Bedelia que mató a un paciente y que, descubierta por Hannibal, es "salvada" por él, ahora está completamente a su merced, envuelta en una relación abusiva que reconoce como tal pero de la que no puede escapar por más que lo intente. Aunque el pasado la atormenta, peor la atormenta Hannibal y hasta sentí que si en algún momento ella estuvo en control de lo que pasaba...bueno, ya lo perdió, como le ocurrió a Will en capítulos anteriores.

Hannibal es amo y señor de lo que ocurre a su al rededor. Y si es buen cocinero, es aún mejor conocedor de la mente humana y de cómo hacerla trabajar. Por primera vez la vemos a Bedelia expuesta a uno de los asesinatos perpetrados por su compañero/captor y, como Judas y Pietro Della Vegnia, va a tener que decidir si quiere traicionar a su salvador. ¿Foreshadowing de su final? Sólo el tiempo lo dirá, lo cierto es que se siente cada vez más ahogada por Hannibal y su constante presión.

Mientras que la máscara de Hannibal descubre lentamente a ese diablo que ya no tiene moral sino que se haya en una pura búsqueda estética (y acá resuena la imagen final del torso de Abel cual pieza de museo de esa Florencia renacentista), las imágenes de la sangre y el agua constantemente nos recordaban que había otros personajes de cuyo destino aún no sabemos nada...habrá que esperar a la semana que viene.

Fuller...mis ojos te extrañaban.

Il faut que cette première saison liée aux deux premiers tomes que @aliceoseman à écrit d'ailleurs les 4 premiers tomes sont disponibles ! L'auteur des livres à participer à la production et réalisation de la série. Que la saison 2 & 3 ont déjà été confirmé. Les amis cette série à fait un carton plein dans le monde entier,les livres ont été SOLD OUT pendant les premières semaines de la sortie de la série. Cette histoire, cette manière d'aborder l'homosexualité, la bisexualité, la transsexualité...est tellement légère et poignante à la fois ! Sensible et romantique. Bref une série qui aide encore aujourd'hui pas mal de personnes dans le monde. Je l'ai vu 20 fois mais elle m'a tellement touché ! C'est une vraie pépite.
