I've always been mesmerized by how Pete is a man of few words, and the instance this is mostly the case to me remains the basement scene(s) in episodes 10 and 11.

Like, during the scene in episode 10, Pete doesn't utter a single word. In episode 11, he only talks when he's had enough of Vegas and his delaying the inevitable, when Vegas starts groping him and when he threatens his grandma.

It's like: Even when he has no control over a situation, even when he's on the brick of death, he still picks and chooses how to act and what to say.

It makes his "I give up, Vegas" even more powerful - because it's an admission that he's been an equal participant in Vegas' game this whole time, trying to win.

Spine chilling to say the least.
