honestly this is such a well-timed ask cause i was just thinking about the couples counseling au and saw that it's been about a year (exactly a year in a few days!) since i last updated

so then i started thinking about what the next chapter would be and obviously the characters are ready to really embark upon the thin excuse of a plot that's there to make them hold hands

(i.e., in the next chapter, obi-wan feels stung that anakin isn't there in the morning which is totally a normal thing for a jilted master slash lover to feel so he retreats into being very polite but distant which sheari the counselor absolutely picks up on during their next session and prompts them to be more physically affectionate to each other to make the emotional distance feel shorter. mainly by holding hands. during the session but then also outside of the session. maybe put your arm around him when you're sitting next to each other. this is therapeutic and very important to your healing journey)

Concord: I really like how you emphasize the bat babies innocence here. Unlike their fathers, from what I remember because I find it truly hard to focus when i read and like to listen to audiobooks as an alternative, the bat babies have a more stable childhood. theyre surrounded by safe environments, and they see that their parents have these funky little markings on parts of their body and they want to have that too. they hear stories of promises and the like and they want that too. they want what the inner circle have and so they try to ensure they get it and it BACKFIRES ON THEM THEYRE SO:( I feel😞 and WRENNIE ASKING IF NYXIE AND GIDDY CAN STAY FOR SUPPER ?!!!!! lagertha is currently busy getting bjorn into a uni he doesnt have the grades for by wiring herself hte money for a library building from ragnar's account (she naturally still has all his passwords and theyre all gydas birthday) (gydas still dead btw she had cancer with was super tragic but also ragnar definitely brings it up in all of his campaigns) (rip)

athelstan's also sweating balls taking care of ivar bc ivar is literally runnign a mlm in his school and also selling webinars on telegram or somtehing. ubbe has three breakdowns per hour over masculinity and his trauma but also hes bringing home margrethe, which means that athelstan constatnly just rhows protection his way (hes not gay freidns with ragnar for nothing)
