During the production of the original 1992 Sailor Moon anime the voice actresses for the five Inner Senshi (Kotono Mitsuishi, Aya Hisakawa, Michie Tomizawa, Emi Shinohara, and Rica Fukami) formed a group called Peach Hips which performed several songs from the anime.*
Astonishingly, the group never performed Moonlight Densetsu, the defining theme for the original anime/the Sailor Moon franchise as a whole.
That is...with the exception of a bonus feature attached to Vol. 9 of the Sailor Moon Laser Discs. The performance can be viewed here:
youtube
As you can tell the sound quality is unfortunately not great. However, a higher quality version of the performance also exists in another video which presents the full bonus feature:
youtube
I have used my amateur sound editing skills to extract the performance as an mp3 so that you can all enjoy the song as performed by the original voice actresses.
*The most famous of which was probably 'Moon Revenge', the theme song for the first Sailor Moon film, Sailor Moon R The Movie (aka Sailor Moon R: The Promise of the Rose for you DiC fans).

Vampire in the Garden Anime Shows the Battle Between Humans and Vampires in New Clip
WIT Studio is about to take a bite of streaming audiences on Netflix on May 16 when the original anime Vampire in the Garden premieres on the platform. Ahead of the premiere, the Netflix anime YouTube account released a clip from the series showing off the battle between humans and vampires in multiple different languages.

The full cast of the Vampire in the Garden anime was announced back in March at AnimeJapan with:
Yu Kobayashi (Noi in Dorohedoro) voicing Fine
Megumi Han (Momoji in Fruits Basket) voicing Momo
Chiaki Kobayashi (Langa in SK8 the Infinity) voicing Allegro
Rica Fukami (Grace in Fena: Pirate Princess) voicing Nobara
Hiroki Touchi (Gagumber in SAKUGAN) voicing Kubo
RELATED: WIT Studio's Vampire in the Garden Original Anime Debuts 1st Trailer, New Visual
Vampire in the Garden is being directed by Ryotaro Makihara (The Empire of Corpses) and Hiroyuki Tanaka (Attack on Titan assistant director) at WIT Studio, with character designs by Tetsuya Nishio (Naruto), who also serves as chief animation director, and music by Yoshihiro Ike (takt op.Destiny).
The original anime is set to be released on May 16 on Netflix, which describes the series as:
One cold winter, humanity lost its battle with the vampires, and with it, most of where they called home. A small population of survivors created a wall of light in a small town to protect them and give them a place to live in peace.
The protagonist, Momo, lives a repressed life but still wishes to coexist with the enemy, the vampires. Fine, the vampire queen, once loved humans and disappeared from the battlefield. As war rages through the humans’ town, the two have a fateful encounter. Once upon a time, humans and vampires lived in harmony in a place called Paradise. This is the story of a young girl and a vampire on a journey to find Paradise.

I think what makes dics dub so good i think is cus whilethey dint fit the japanese characters, they sure do fit their shitty ass americanized ones
ie Terri Hawkes doesnt voice Usagi, she voices Serena, they are two different characters in some ways.
Raye is much bitchier than Rei though her high pitch sweet voice is a little off. only one thats a bit off imo
Lita is the BIG BRUTE TOMBOY Makoto is not!
Amy is a huge nerd and cares more about stufying than like being nice or sweet at all (everyones really catty in the dub its kinda awful), Ami is much sweeter and more passive.
Mina is special cus I actually do like her deep voice in the dic dub but again doesnt really fit Minako, but at the time Minako was more serious so maybe thats why they went with that voice. I looove Rica Fukami thiugh love that sort of valley girl tone she has for Minako in the JPN dub.
The charm darling its the charm, the ViZ dub just kinda lacks it i think

How Did Idol Culture Contribute to Sailor Moon's Success?
How Did Idol Culture Contribute to Sailor Moon's Success? #SailorMoon #SailorMoonCrystal #セーラームーン
Did someone say ‘idol’? While many would associate Japan’s fascination with idol groups with the meteoric rise to popularity of AKB48 and the many other groups, anime, and games that have spun off from the concept since then, Japan’s fixation on love for school-aged sweethearts actually goes back several decades. But what does that have to do with our favorite Sailor-suited guardians of…

Random Sailor Moon Trivia:
Nanae Sumitomo provided the voice of Minako Aino/Sailor Venus for some of the lines in episode 163 of the original anime because Rica Fukami had injured her vocal cords and was temporarily unable to speak.
