why haven't I decorated my porch for Halloween yet?
because if I did my crow friends wouldn't come visit me
#crow witch#Halloween#I love my crows#I love my muder#but they do not like Billy Bones the fake skeleton#or the fake cobwebs#they miiiight put up with the tiny orange lights but only if they're off during the day time#right now they're landing on the porch railing for treats multiple times a day#which brings me too much joy to give it up for 2+ weeks#I have decorated inside since the birbs are not allowed in the house#and ironically most of my inside decorations are crow themed lol#I feel like this is a valid reason to wait to decorate#but maybe I'll try putting up at least some of the lights this weekend and see how they tolerate them#maybe leave the places where they usually perch light-free for a bit longer#crows#this is my real life#2023 mood
