This week in ridiculous food:

1) not only has crystal pepsi been co-opted and rebranded as “Coca-Cola Clear,” they’ve also decided “coke plus coffee” is a good idea. 1 in every 1000 wins a free heart attack!

2) at Otsu Bridge Rest Area this weekend (post forthcoming) we found GigaDango (an entirely-too-large version of mitarashi dango) and boysenberry cider, both of which were FANTASTIC.

3) Warm, chocolate-filled Rilakkuma buns (Rilakkuman - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PUN) available for a limited time at Lawson. They’re pretty good - I’m not sure they’re worth ¥200 yen, especially how wonky some of them are, but it’s definitely a nice little treat. I love him so much ♡♡♡♡♡♡
