    A  violent  morass  of  color  sets  his  vision  ablaze.  Joints  creak  as  his  body  collides  with  the  hard  ground,  a  spark  of  pain  shooting  through  bruised  limbs  to  reek  havoc  on  his  aching  back.  Sharp  eyes  narrow,  muted  jade  burning  a  venomous  green  as  purse  lips  curl  to  bare  bloodied  teeth.    ❛  You  are  never  going  to  get  what  you  want,  ❜    he  hisses  lowly  —A  caged  animal  spitting  and  growling  at  their  captor.  Driven  with  instinctual  rage,  fueled  by  adrenaline  alone.  His  father's  smothering  hands  had  taught  him  to  withstand  pain  long  before  his  military  training.    ❛  Even  if  you  detain  me.  ❜    The  caustic  edge  fades  from  his  tone  as  he  regards  her  cooly  —The  gears  in  his  mind  shifting.    ❛  I  have  what  you  desire.  But  my  willingness  to  cooperate  is  circumstantial.  ❜

#starter   call

“Good, you managed to run the course faster than last time.” Nodding approvingly at Rey’s time, Luke smiled from beneath his hood, the fabric doing its best to block out the rain that fell in sheets around them. “The last time you ran it in the rain, at least.” But things were more difficult in those conditions, Luke wasn’t ignorant of that.

“Come on, let’s get inside.” Raising his voice to be heard over the rain, Luke turned to go back inside his hut and moved immediately to see about making tea. “You know the rules, grab a towel and don’t drip on my floor.” Not that it truly mattered, but multiple people yelled at Luke about dripping everywhere after he got off Tatooine, and it felt almost like a rite of passage to yell at @risenshe​ for the same thing. “Tell me, did anything feel different this time?”
