Multiple companions is absolutely the best, the absolute shenanigans going on with three of them is just perfect

observe:

I recruit Preston (Danse is already my companion at this point) and they stare at each other for a solid 5 seconds before glaring directly at me

Recruiting Mac and once again, Danse is SIDEYEING ME from halfway across the vip lounge. Jesus I would never want to get on this guy’s bad side 😭

Preston wanting to have a deep, meaningful conversation and I’m like oh ok :) so we start chatting and then hear explosions going on behind as Danse runs into the fray and starts beating up raiders. We kept on chatting

As much as MacCready likes to pretend he’s a fully fledged adult man, father and certified local Goodneighbor Badass™️, there’s nothing that makes him laugh more than physical comedy. All it takes is for Sole Survivor and he to come across a crudely posed pre-war skeleton, half trapped in the toilet they died in for him to burst out laughing; his serious and well practised scowl disappearing in a series of quietened wheezes.
