Durante los últimos años Venezuela ha estado presente en los noticieros internacionales con noticias que no son buenas. No voy a mencionar esas malas noticias, ni analizar sus causas y consecuencias. Quiero compartir con Ustedes noticias de venezolanos que están haciendo cosas increíbles y mostrando al mundo que en la “tierra de gracia” hay gente buena y con talento. Eso es #talentovenezuela – Empezaré hoy hablándoles de Ron Davis Álvarez @rondavisalvarez un joven caraqueño, egresado del Instituto Universitario De Estudios Musicales (IUDEM) y violinista formado en el Sistema de Orquestas y Coros que José Antonio Abreu fundara en 1975. En sus primeros viajes a Suecia se encontró con la difícil realidad de los jóvenes refugiados que llegaban sin familia y con la carga de una experiencia dolorosa. Así, surgió un día del 2016 el proyecto por el que hoy es reconocido: “La Orquesta de los Sueños”, integrada por jóvenes de Afganistán, Albania, Somalia, Siria y Eritrea. Gracias a su pasión por la música, Ron impartió clases por toda Venezuela y viajo por 17 países del mundo logrando entrar en el grupo de los 50 mejores maestros del mundo que optan por el Global Teacher Prize, organizado por la Fundación Varkey. Sin duda que Ron está logrando lo imposible: silenciar el sonido de las explosiones con violines y chelos. Me enteré de su existencia por una entrevista en DW, esta vez no eran malas noticias de Venezuela sino de un venezolano que estaba haciendo la diferencia.
