Thursdays were always busy, for however long any current employee could remember, Thursdays were always packed with the karaoke crowds and it usually made it harder for Jia to even hear herself think let alone a non-scream singing customer. "Oh I'm sorry but you're gonna have to repeat that!" Jia beams as she sets a coaster in front of the patron. " I promise not everyone is so enthusiastic while on stage."

It was still earlier in the day and the day had barely started for Roseton's own-- Leo Pembroke. Skipping out on breakfast and being able to rely on Roseton's best and only diner for comfort food is where he was at with his current mindset. As Leo arrived to Rosie's diner, he was instantly met with greetings by workers and a few customers, the opposite of a new face. Leo greets back everyone, "how's everyone mornin' so far?" he asks while his eyes scan a booth, an already occupied booth.
Leo takes his backpack off, "this empty space by you looks like it needs some loving too," Leo comments calmly as he then takes a seat across from the person.
"What, not a sunshiner?" Leo then glances at the person across from him, more specifically their plate.
"Should I get that too?"

Victoria's eyes rolled as a former colleague continued to complain on the phone to her about a contract that she had filed before leaving the Boston firm. "Where did you get your accreditations? A fucking cereal box?" Pushing her glasses to the crown of her head she turned to the figure approaching her. "Just send it to me I'll figure it out but you owe me." Hanging up Tori sighed. "Sorry that was just a shit show...anything I can do for you or?" At the small table at the park across from town hall she pushed the opposite chair out with her foot, inviting the other to sit.

As an important figure such as Brianne, for the small town that she resided in, it's important that she comes out on top, every time. Perhaps not important for anyone particular but herself and that's all that matters. Ballet wasn't a dying art, that much is obvious when Brianne was met with the opportunity to host adult ballet classes for residents who were intrigued, interested, beginners, non-beginners. Roseton isn't really a town capitalizing off ballet as any other town may have a star athlete representing their town.
Following that format, you could say that Brianne was Roseton's very own star athlete?
The Dorian Theatre location is more so for opening nights for plays, orchestral music showcase, and now ballet showcases with Brianne and the team of ballerina's she curated of out her fellow residents.
But this wasn't a regular one of her seasoned dancers class, it was open to the public, as she has people watch her display, Brianne display is her finishing up her demonstrative Pirouettes ending in a lowered Pliė as a soft upward tilt of her head rises, giving it a graceful finish as she has a smile on her face. Though while she brings her head up, her eyes meets with the person who just walked in, late.
"You're late. Why even show up now when I'm ending it off?" Her tone is slight mocking but the smile remains on her face as she straightens her posture.
