OK OK WAIT i think I'm cooking. For this lucilly au we have going (set in the year 1996 Harry still probably was attacked by voldy on Halloween 1981 but his family survived and things are mostly ok) i was trying to think of who to ship Harry with cuz I headcannon him as gay and demisexul. And I thought, "Oh well what if luci still has the diary horcrux"

What if one day in the summer before his 6 year at Hogwarts Harry finds the diary in the manor, and Diary Tom is so lonely after being stuck in that book for 54 years and no one talked to him. His biggest fear came true. He was forgotten, he was abandoned, no one cared about him.

And then came Harry, smart, sassy, kind, Harry. A Harry that wrights to Tom day and night. A Harry that Listens to him and makes him feel scene after so many years of isolation not only just in his diary but in his everyday life. A Harry that fills his lonely ink prison with color. The first person to not only be turely kind to him, but Challenges him. At first, Tom would probably plan to kill Harry to escape the book, but that plan falls away as this new emotion replaces it. He doesn't know what to call it. Harry becomes as fascinated with Tom as Tom dose with Harry. Tom would show Harry the inside of his small little world, they explore in Tom's inky hogwarts, they confide in each other.

One night, they sit in front of a fireplace in Tom's inky hogwarts, and Tom stands up and holds out his hand to Harry, and Harry takes it. Before they realize it, their slow dancing to a quiet 1940s toon in in the background. Talking about trivial things as they sway. And as the recod stops, they look at each other and for the first time they lean in for a kiss. It's a gentle thing. Closed lip. But oh the unsaid feelings. And when they open their eyes, theri both in the real world.

Anyway, it's just an idea. What do you think?

I'd like to think that in the A.U waer Harry timetravels back to the marauder's school area that Lily would just never stop cuddling Harry. And on top of that, Harry's a depressed and tired Touch starved but also touch adverse little guy, so He's surprised that he doesn't have a panic attack when his mom hugs him, and he soaks that shit up like its the sun. She cuddles him on the couch, She cuddles him in the library, She cuddles him EVERYWHEREEEEE.

And james is a jealous lil turd about the fact he doesn't get to hug either of them.

And sev thinks it's the most beautiful thing ever.

P.s. I thought this would be obvious, but I just want to clarify that Lily is the big spoon.
