Here we see the first inkling of what would become Chris’s most famous fake game and the first one to not be Sonichu focused, Christian Weston Chandler’s Adult Chronicles. Plot wise it would seem to be similar to the Sub-Episodes - Chris fighting valiantly, with Sonichu and Rosechu serving mostly as backup, against Mary Lee Walsh and her band of evil jerkops and manajerks. For the longest time Chris was rather vague about what exactly the game would be like, until late 2017, about 9 years after he drew this, that Chris mentioned the game would be reminiscent of one of his new faves Life is Strange, a game I’m sure you will be able to find a lot about while browsing through this delightful website you’re currently viewing called Tumblr. Basically it’s a graphic adventure game where you can rewind time and it’s a fave of Chris likely because it’s also all about dykes dykes China. Presumably, in this fictional game of his, you would play as a third-person Chris who would explore Chris’s hangouts around Ruckersville and Charlottesville, interact with some of his friends (Chris singled out Megan and Anna McLerran) along with Sonichu and Rosechu and his parents, and fight off Mary Lee and the rest of Chris’s rogue’s gallery. A bit surprisingly the way Chris talked about the game in his “An Important Update” he implied that the final boss fight would be between him and his “Dark Half”, likely referring to Reldnahc and the climactic showdown between him and Mary Lee would happen earlier.
Chris hasn’t been the hero behind the hedgehogs in about five issues. Chris has been the hero in front of the hedgehogs, eclipsing them entirely.
Interestingly, this page’s reference to Mary Lee, even in the CWCipedia retconned comics, was never changed to Slaweel.
The cover shown on the game boxes themselves shows what appears to be the ending of the game - Chris stands victorious, the 4-Cent-Garbage symbol underneath his foot, the EHPs beside him. Strewn across his backyard are symbols representing Chris’s main foes in the comics: from top to bottom we have Naitsirhc’s blue goggles (from his original outfit), the smashed sceptre of Count Graduon, left slumped on its side like a discarded ice cream cone, the Jerkief’s delicious wooden badge, the severed mechanical sword arm of the Merried Seinor Comic, Mary Lee’s cracked hair devil horns helmet, and what appears to be the Robotnik medallion from Sonichu 1.
Shown above the games themselves are the two consoles Chris would develop this game for, Sony’s Playstations 2 and 3 and Nintendo’s Wii. One of the many facets to Chris’s unbreakable brand loyalty is his undying love for the consoles of Nintendo and Sony and hatred of those produced by Microsoft. Dubbed by him as the “HEXBox”, he has never offered any real reasons for this dislike besides basic console wars reasons. During Chris’s childhood, he showed an equal distaste towards Sony’s consoles due to his infatuation with Nintendo and Sega’s consoles. After Sega left the console market in 2002, Chris filled that void with a cheaply bought PS1, and it and its successors has become his ally and lover ever since.
The rating in the bottom left, “M for Honest Content”, has become another meme among Christorians as a way of denoting NSFW Chris material on sites like the CWCki.
Soul Calibur is a series of fighting games that’s ideal for beating up representations of your foes like deans that tear up your signs or artists that draw pickles on your FEMALE characters. Chris’s favorite character is Cassandra Alexandra, for obvious reasons.
That legalese at the bottom was almost certainly copied directly from something. Here’s some fun trivia for ya - the phrase “All Rights Reserved” has been obsolete in America since 1989 due to the US signing on to newer international copyright treaties that don’t require copyright formalities like “All Rights Reserved” such as the Berne Convention, and it’s never been applicable to countries outside of North and South America like Japan, where Sega, Nintendo, and Sony all originate.

I Visited the IIHS Testing Facility in Ruckersville, VA. Here’s what I learned via /r/cars
I Visited the IIHS Testing Facility in Ruckersville, VA. Here’s what I learned
July 3rd I was traveling from DC to Charlottesville for the 4th of July celebrations and saw a sign that said the IIHS Testing Facility was at the next exit (I would have to look it up on Google maps when I get home to find the exact one) and decided “I have enough time, why not.” After about 10 minutes driving down a winding 2 lane country road, I arrived at their beautiful campus - I mean it, their location is gorgeous.
I parked the rental car in the first parking spot I saw and began walking towards a wall of glass windows I assumed was the entrance. The double doors opened into this rather modern looking lobby with a desk to the left and a wall of the insurance agencies that form the group on the right. Straight ahead, they had a small display with the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2019 Volkswagen Atlas after being apart of the passenger small overlap crash test showing the differences between a good performer and poor performer. Just behind that was their display of their famous BelAir vs Malibu 50th anniversary crash. I talked to the lady at the desk and asked about tours and was told that, while tours aren’t given due to insurance reasons, she could get an engineer to meet and talk with me. It took about ten minutes for him to show up.
His name is Daniel and he is an engineer and test coordinator that oversees the preparation for the tests and evaluates the data collected. I asked him several questions as follows: Note: all questions and answers are paraphrased and not direct quotes; however, they are accurate and convey the information I received
Q: How did you start here? A: I started as an intern originally working a summer job while I was going to college. I heard about it through my neighbor and applied and was accepted.
Q: What were you studying and what did you major in to work here? A: I was originally studying math and got my degree in mathematics, but most of the coordinators here have a physics or engineering degree.
Q: What is your job here? A: I oversee the preparation for the tests and give the “ok” to the guy who presses the red button that sends the car down the track. I then take measurements using a very precise machine (I forgot what he called it) and read data from the dummies and write up the reports.
Q: How are vehicles chosen to be tested? A: The vehicles we test aren’t chosen, they are nominated by the insurance groups as a candidate to be tested next. Some manufacturers nominate their own vehicles when they are confident that it will receive good marks, as many manufacturers run their own tests when developing the vehicle
Q: The Institute sometimes releases their tests in chunks, suck as Mid-Size truck ratings - which one is next, and will you ever test large SUVs such as the Suburban or Expedition? A: I’m not sure what group we’re going to be testing next, but I can say we will not be testing the large SUVs as they do not represent a large enough market share to test. We don’t test heavy duty trucks for the same reason, there simply aren’t enough on the road. (I was not satisfied with this answer as they test trucks such as the F150 and Silverado, which are similar to their SUV cousins, and large SUVs seem to be rising in popularity)
Q: Which test is most difficult? A: The headlight test, because what we recognize as good could be rated differently by other organizations such as Consumer Reports. We are looking for beams that do not dazzle other drivers while producing adequate light for the driver, which is a very small sweet spot that can be more reliant on consumer preference than what manufacture produces.
Q: What was your experience while interning here? A: It was a very “hands on” experience. It was like “Heres what we’re doing today, let’s get to it.”
Q: Is their any manufacturer you would recommend as being the safest? A: Any vehicle you see on our TSP and TSP+ list is the best performing vehicle and the safest you can buy.
Q: Is there anything the Institute is trying to change, upgrade, or eliminate? A: We are looking to refine some of our newer tests to better simulate real world occurrences. We are trying to influence car makers to fix standard good headlights to their vehicle, as some manufacturers only make them available on pricey trims or option packages. Manufacturers love to advertise them getting an award from us, so they see their car getting a TSP or TSP+, even if only on certain trim levels, as a success. That’s why we require them to put the “only with certain headlights” or “only with options frontal collision”, but that’s usually in the small text at the bottom you don’t read. We’re trying to look into ways to eliminate this work-around. Whatever we do, the auto makers follow to get good marks.

In the shop now: An authentic, vintage, hand-painted & signed Costa Rican “carreta” in a smaller size suitable for a serving cart in a covered deck or patio area. Complete with matching, painted wooden handled box and grid for serving and holding bottles. As an added bonus, the cart can be completely disassembled and reassembled like a puzzle.
Larger ox carts became a significant means of transportation for rural Costa Ricans after they were introduced to the area circa 1840. Farmers used ox carts to transport valuable crops like coffee beans or sugar cane. The carreta was valued for its ability to maneuver over all types of hazardous terrain.
Over the centuries, cars & trucks replaced the ox cart as transportation. However, ox carts then gained new life as a celebrated form of artwork. The ox cart has even taken on a symbolic significance, commemorating Costa Rica traditions and agricultural history, and was officially declared a national symbol of Costa Rica some 30 years ago. Visitors to Costa Rica can witness carretas in all their traditional glory during the "Día del Boyero" (Day of the Drover) parade, which is held in the city of Escazú every year on the second Sunday in March.
Carretas are now decorated with bright colors and intricate designs. They often boast floral motifs, and the wheels are emblazoned with mandala-like patterns. The artisans who craft carretas also painstakingly choose the pieces of wood from which the wheels will be crafted, specifically so that the carts will make a pleasant sound as they roll through the streets. The wheels consist of sixteen wedge-shaped pieces of wood arranged in a circle and bound with a metal ring.
This example features cheerful colors on a black background. It is in good vintage condition. Come check it out at Folklore Emporium in Ruckersville Gallery. #costarican #carreta #cart #margaritacart #patiocart #servingcart #paintedfurniture #folkart #ruckersvillegallery #cvillevintage #albemarlecounty #virginiavintage #charlottesville #folkloreemporium
