Eyes look over the ancient text once again, searching for answers within tomes of knowledge. The library is the epicenter of said knowledge, but it also is the epicenter of human greed and wish to be remembered. The rewritten texts, the knowledge passed down that could've been altered if someone got ahold of a certain idea or found something to be lacking or threatening. Humans were complicated, tainted, and seeking out personal self-satisfaction. The majority, at the very least, those who were wronged and those who wanted to wrong others to let them taste the bitterness of the real world.

When she hears her name called in that familiar and gentle whisper, Sokolova looks up from her seat. The sight of Kokomi is always a welcome one, it reminds Zarina of the reason why she enjoys 'hiding' and letting Sangonomiya 'find' her. It's nice to feel that someone is searching for her, especially someone who she does come to care about. The future tragedies aren't yet touching them, instead the present basks them in the golden glow of the sun shining through the windows. This is still when Kokomi's voice did nothing but bring a sensation of warmth into Sokolova's heart as she would beckon the woman to join her.

"It's either here or outside near Zubayr Theater," she gives up her 'hiding' spots to the pinkette so easily, hoping that the priestess will use that knowledge in the future. Kokomi's eyes always shine when she finds the doctor, such is the beauty of her bright gaze and colors that sparkle in both sunlight and moonlight. The gentle touch, the familiar scent, the pleasant company. "It's fun when you find me. You smile so cutely."

They sit closer to each other than others would, but it's to be expected. They are more than just a couple of friends or researchers, there is more brewing in their company and Zarina places her hand on the back of Sangonomiya's chair so she can show her the book she's reading. Their closeness allows them to whisper about more private topics as well, indulging their wishes to spend more time together. Sokolova is not hiding her wish to take her time with Kokomi, asking more questions or discussing the contents of the book while noting on how the other looks at her, glancing from her face to the book. Sometimes, Zarina wants to tease her dear with a whisper into her ears to see how her voice might make her react.

"Are you listening, Komi?" The nickname slips off her tongue so easily, fluidly. It's so easy to call her this, so easy to use such an affectionate shortening of her name because it speaks of closeness and intimacy between them, or so Zarina uses it for. It may be seen a bit differently by Sangonomiya, the doctor cannot read minds but she wishes to spark more adoration within her lover. "Or are you just enjoy the sound of my voice?" Her smirk appears as an underlining of her teasing remark, purring those words out to make the other blush.

Caiying calls for her girlfriend as soon as her lecture was over that morning. She rushes over, exuding an enthusiasm that their classmates rarely witness. The entirety of class was spent in anticipation of seeing Kokomi once again after they had departed from each other last night after their date. It's become natural now for them to meet after their lectures are complete to enjoy the other's presence a little before they must work on their projects. They're comfortable enough to reach for the other's hand and lace their fingers together in a gentle hold.

She expects the kiss when Kokomi begins to lean in, and her body moves to meet her halfway. It's an innocent kiss they share in front of their classmates. It's warm and sweet. As Caiying pulls away, she licks her lips a little. She thinks that she can taste the pastries from the cafe on Kokomi.

" Are you free to get some food with me, Komi-chan ? We should go somewhere that's a little quiet so people will not watch us, don't you think ? "

it was through sheer willpower and hard work that mona was able to accumulate enough mora to purchase a round trip from liyue to inazuma in light of the latter nation reopening its borders. it was a region not even her own master had managed to step foot into, and nothing would make mona happier than to get ahead of her own teacher. with her ticket in one hand and a small traveling bag in the other, the astrologist boards her ship and sets sail for the land of eternity. it was a laborious journey tested by blistering heat and contemptuous storms, but within a fortnight, the ship finally docked in ritou, inazuma’s port town. at the behest of a local inazuman, mona quickly applied for a travel permit, and immediately after sought out her lodging for the evening. 

with her all clothing having been washed and left out to dry after her long journey, the astrologist was given a yukata by the innkeeper after her bath. now settled within her room, mona retrieves her quill and some stationary, penning a letter she’d have delivered once she had finished writing it. there were a number of places she had put in her itinerary to visit for the duration of her stay which were authorized with a travel permit from ritou’s outlander affairs agency, but there were a few islands that were out of the mainland’s jurisdiction, and one such place was watatsumi island.

Oh no, not that! Zarina has to turn around from her Kokomi to not show how effective such joke was on her (shoulders trembling as she tries to hold back her laughter). It makes her think of Victor and his awful jokes, but to think that Sangonmiya would actually do when she dared her to make a pun? Oh, she looked so adorable with such confidence!

It had taken her some time to get accustomed to the presence of KOKOMI. For long it had been just the two of them, ronin and cat, wandering around all of Teyvat without anyone else to rely on. But since her owner met the other and became part of the picture, things had drastically changed without a warning. Never had Tomoya found themselves coming back to someone so constantly, even to the point of SETTLING DOWN and starting a new life. Tama blames it on the strike they received though they had already shared the need to be with her prior to that event. It had taken her more than a year to accept this new reality and the implications involved, one of them being the constant exchanges between her and the Watatsumi princess.

At first she would hiss at the other, later that aggression become a mutual tolerance and now, with her hand offered, she would LEAN ON her touch by will. The flower put on her ear makes the fur ball tilt her head with curiosity and a paw tries to fetch the item. A 'meow' follows after, might be her way to say 'thank you'. Although it feels a bit weird, she will let it happen and stay for the next couple of minutes as a sign of gratitude. ❝ Meow. ❞
