MAYBEEE Rupert is only used to eating food prepared by robots for the most part, so maybe when I make him something... even if it's technically worse... it tastes better because it's made with love... and bc it makes him think of me...

he calls his robot, which he canonically sees as nothing more than a machine, things like "darling" and "my dear" .....how am I supposed to keep myself from thinking of all the mushy gushy things he'd call me 😞😞😞😞😞

I answered this one here but I will add if i may ehehe :Dc there were also some moments before that where he definitely knew but just didn't want to admit it to himself, because he didn't believe anything would ever happen. The main two that come to mind are once when he heard me singing along to a song Galatea was playing, and also when I fell asleep on his couch. Basically the type of moments that made his heart all soft 🥲❤️

💓 (if applicable) what moment made you realize you were in love with them?

It was during some of Portia's wedding preparations. There were a lot of people around; I was feeling down and really out of place, and found myself wishing Rupert was there. I already knew I had a lot of feelings for him, but I realized then that there was no one else I felt as comfortable or happy with, or who I missed so much when we were apart :')

Randall was technically pining first! It was mild, though, bc it was before we even knew each other. He'd see me running on campus every Wednesday after his class and developed a mini little crush (that only got worse once we actually met). 🤭 I started pining too as soon as we were introduced by Rachel :')

Also before we were introduced, Randy psyched himself up during class one day and told himself he was gonna "accidentally" bump into me while I was on my run as an excuse to talk to me. But the end of class rolled around and he only went outside and watched me pass by like usual 🥲

He was talking to his tape recorder one night, rambling about the experiments, but somehow kept circling back to me. He realized even something as monumental as the experiments seemed small in comparison to how he was feeling about me, and it hit him that it was much, much more serious than just a little crush 🤭

being very self-indulgent here, Rupert started pining first, the moment Andrew introduced us 🤭 It was definitely an insta-crush lol :') I fell for him pretty fast too, it only took like two times of us being around each other for it to become mutual 💘

I almost asked Rupert if he wanted to come to Portia's banquet with me, as a date, but I got too nervous! 😖 Thankfully at least Andrew was a good wingman and asked Portia if he could bring Rupert along 😆

When he saw me at the banquet 🥹 Seeing me all dressed up like that, while romantic music was playing and the room was all twinkly and idyllic... He was already far gone, but that sealed the deal for him 😆

BASICALLY I watched Bicentennial Man the other day and well... Rupert got to me 🤡😅 LIKE AUGHGAHG he's super smart and dedicated to his work, but at the cost of being lonely and yearning for love... and he's a great friend and also really sweet to his robot even though she isn't sentient like the main character robot, which I feel like just showcases the extent of his gentleness :')

show me a man who's kind and funny and has never experienced love and WELL I'm simply gonna wanna give him some 😌🫴❤️

AND OF COURSE... ✨️ HE'S HANDSOME ✨️
