Wanted to practice drawing fatter characters. Body types vary quite a bit when I draw some OCs, because I have trouble getting all but my pencil thin characters to look right (years of practice of a single body type, sigh). Hopefully I can nail down exactly how I want each of them to look soonish. These are at least close to how I imagine. Katsy’s legs turned out too short and Eva’s turned out too long though. It’s fine. I can leave it. I should sleep. It’s fine.

So yeah. Lots of little doodles practicing body shapes too. Got a little silly with it at the end bc i wanted to fill the page.

you ever make a tumblr equivalent for your fictional world? i just wrote a bunch of posts that would absolutely be on tumblr in the nether in my nine realms paracosm. memes, discourse about terminology, etc

that is how i am spending my work break apparently. i love worldbuilding but i have been noticing parallels between some fictional “races” and real world groups and have been debating whether to make it intentional coding or leave it at a coincidence

ah, back when these were (almost) all of my characters who lived in the Nether (I think Hel is the only significant one missing). Wild to think about. The younger ones may be aged up past teen now, but they’re all still fairly significant characters. Designs haven’t changed much.

pro-tip: don’t feel too bad for Vertigo, and definitely don’t ship it. That’s his sister. The snakes don’t know any better, but he should.

This is Eva (she/her)! She’s the main character of the animation senior film I’m currently working my ass off on! The film is essentially her origin story. It had to be cut down, but I also plan on making the extended version one day. The shorter version will be finished end of April. Fingers crossed it’ll be uploaded to my Youtube channel by this summer!

Some guys don’t catch on that showing a lot of skin doesn’t mean she’s working. Sometimes Rosalie (she/her) just wants to look sexy for her girlfriend Tempest (she/her), or for herself.

Anubis (he/they), being a lovesick ghost, likes to pay Vertigo (he/him) surprise visits. Vertigo never gets entirely used to it.

Vertigo definitely has a type… and somehow his type has been interested in him twice. First Anubis, then Roga (he/him). His brain cannot comprehend.

Pluto (he/him) and Katsy (she/her) dancing together because I haven’t drawn those two together enough <3

Art (he/him) has always been body-shy, even when he was initially planned to be a cis guy, but I recently wondered if it could be tied to chest dysphoria when he was younger. Idk, gotta do some research since it was the 20th century when Art was first a teenager. Anyways, Pollo (any pronouns) (short for Apollo) is being a bro to his bro so he’s not alone wearing a tank top swimming. Ember (he/she/they fluid) is having a guy day, so that’s what that’s about. He’s genderfluid, and his presentation doesn’t always “match” his pronouns, so people just ask. Rosalie just wants to be left alone to soak up some rays and lust from staring passerbys (what did you expect from agreeing to meet up with your siblings at the beach? They’re going to interact with you lol)

Apollo ‘Pollo’ Melais (any pronouns) - born in the Nether, later moves to Midgard to get away from the constant stress, death, and violence.

Artemis ‘Art’ Melais (he/him) - introverted bookworm skilled in handgun combat and dorkily obsessed with wearing the color black

Dee Brinken (she/her) - a mechanic, loves her motorcycle, gets really sappy and touchy feely when drunk

Katiyana Kilar (she/her) - blind, was reincarnated through direct action of the grim reaper. Her knowledge of the supernatural’s existence made it easier for her to believe and accept that Pollo was from another realm.

Dan Foster (he/him) - despite the pronouns and identifying as gay demisexual, Dan is non-binary. Met Pollo while working a hot dog cart. Oh shoot I just realized there’s a dirty joke about weiners within reach. Anyways, they’re fucking.

A polyam throuple that is very cute but a very new relationship as I just decided Dee would be pretty compatible with Pollo and Kati this past summer. And then revived Dan on a whim. He used to be Dee’s love interest way back when and he had no purpose outside of that. Just a malewife design to compliment Dee’s girlboss when I made Dee in rinmaru manga creator games. Damn… those early teen years though. Getting trickles of that nostalgia serotonin. Anyways, now Dee’s metamour rather than amour.

I find it funny that Dee, Kati, and Dan are some of my oldest anthro characters yet i did nothing with them for so long. It feels sort of like it came full circle or something. I’ve now revived nearly all of my scrapped/unused anthro characters. Feels good. I have so many damn characters tho haha
