Interesting that you're picking up two Dream Daves. I'd assumed that all his time-travelling duties would be handled by his realself - especially since Dream Dave is missing his sylladex, and therefore his time machines.

You're also picking up Davesprite, which would have convinced me he was still alive if you weren't also picking up Doomed Dave's corpse.

At least there's only one Dave corpse in play. Small mercies.

Ah, I see what happened - I mistook the section of Quest Bed that Doomed Dave was sleeping on for a pool of blood. He was alive before, which means the spectagoggles don't detect the dead.

I have a habit of getting brand new trucks, but this really takes the cake.

VT Transport № 3248 [Hino 700 8x4 hiab] sports QBZxxx series plates. This suggests that it was registered within the last couple of weeks, no doubt having arrived off a ship from Japan in the last month or so.

VT also have a late model Foden S108 w/ hiab dying at the far end of their yard. Possibly one of their early trucks. A far cry from this fancy new piece of kit.

E-mail after e-mail after e-mail rolled into Scully’s inbox on the daily. It was a wonder they managed to keep up with it at all, never mind keep up with it while they did the rest of their job. Still, they diligently checked it every day, multiple times a day. Their e-mail sorting was impeccable. Folders for grant funding, folders for interns, folders for lab supplies, folders for applications, a folder for everything.

Scully was deep into the fifty e-mails they’d received since 3pm this afternoon when their phone chimed. Another new e-mail, but this one was for a different inbox. Not thrilled by the interruption, they almost ignored their phone, but any correspondence within that inbox tended to take priority. With some reluctance, they finished the message they were writing, took a moment to proofread it, then sent it off. Now then... What was so important?

An application of a different sort. Perfect timing. Scully scanned the message carefully, looking for even the tiniest of red flags. Nothing done here was done above board so everything had to go just right while they were involved. Whatever happened after they’d released their subject wasn’t their concern.

The applicant had managed to find Scully’s contact info in the first place, filled out the form correctly, every field filled in, just enough information to be useful but without anything too identifying. Not that it always mattered in the end. A human this time, female, wants to be as beautiful as a swan with wings to match. Scully rolled their eyes at that, humans usually were the least creative with their suggestions, but it was harmless and it would be a pretty routine experiment. Repeatable, they needed those numbers for their data anyway.

Fine.

Scully slapped their boilerplate reply into the message field. We will meet at a public place, discuss terms in person, sign the contract and NDA, go over possible risks and an overview of the standard process, use this keyword when we meet so I know it’s you, yadda yadda yadda. For the sake of their own sanity, they’d learned quickly to make a standard script they could just copy and paste.

Tomorrow, S108 could begin.

Het riool krijgt een nieuwe kunststof buis aan te brengen in het bestaande riool. Het is niet nodig om het nieuwe asfalt open te breken. Afsluitingen Tijdens de werkzaamheden aan het riool sluit de gemeente alleen oprit 3 (Bezuidenhout) af. Reizigers die de stad uitrijden moeten rekening houden met de afsluiting van de rechterrijstrook en een maximumsnelheid van 50 km/uur. Omleidingen In het Centrum van Den Haag wordt verkeer naar de snelwegen A4, A12 en A13 omgeleid via: Oprit 2 naar de Utrechtsebaan; Rijswijkseplein, S100 en S108 naar oprit 4 (Voorburg); Rijswijkseplein, S100 en S107 (Rotterdamsebaan). Omleidingsroute - Beeld: gemeente Den Haag Renovatie Utrechtsebaan De 50 jaar oude weg werd in 2022 gerenoveerd. De gemeente heeft hier 12.500 ton asfalt van de weg verwijderd en 16.000 ton nieuw asfalt neergelegd. In het asfalt werd 15 kilometer nieuwe markering en belijning aangebracht.
