Saiki Kusuo No Psi Nan - Flash Anime

On June 27, 2013, Asou Shuichi posted an image of the fifth volume of the Saiki Kusuo No Psi Nan manga with the wraparound jacket teasing an adaptation for the series on his twitter. The text mentioning the adaptation's format was hidden on the picture.

The following month, the adaptation was confirmed to be a flash anime in the 32nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

The flash animation launched on Shueisha's mobile app Jump Live in August 2013. Episode 1 was uploaded to Youtube to promote the app and the anime, but the original upload has been set to private since then. Jump Live was shut down in 2014. Unofficial reuploads of all episodes are available to watch on Youtube.

Saiki Kusuo No Psi Nan (JP: 斉木楠雄のΨ難, ENG: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Abbreviations: 斉Ψ, SaiPsi) is a multimedia franchise that has started as a manga drawn and written by Asou Shuuichi.

The manga started as a one shot work, but since its release in 2012 it has recieved a serialization that ended in 2018. In 2013 is has recieved a Flash anime adaptation that was exclusive to Shonen Jump's mobile app, as well as a series of Vomics that dubbed the manga. The series recieved two novels written by Hinata Shou and illustrated by Asou-sensei. It's currently best known outside Japan for its 2016 anime adaptation.

When is the next season of the anime coming? - There won't be one. Unless the studio decides to adapt the novels, which is unlikely, they don't have enough source material left to make a full season out of it.

Will Saiki get more manga chapters? - The manga finished in 2018. It's unlikely for Asou-sensei to continue this project after concluding it.

Is Kusuo transgender? - He's a shapeshifter who turns into Kusuko when he needs to or gains from it. It's only technically canon as he left the womb as a girl, but it's only a result of his shapeshifting powers. He immediately changes to male - the gender was assigned before birth. If you want to headcanon him as transgender though- go ahead.

Is Kusuo aroace? - Canonically no, but it's a popular headcanon.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, la nuova serie arriverà su Netflix in inverno

Sulla piattaforma sono già disponibili le prime due stagioni e la special tratti dal manga di Shuichi Aso.

A quanto divulgato sul sito ufficiale, il nuovo adattamento animato del manga “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.” (Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan) di Shuichi Aso, approderà in esclusiva su Netflix nel corso dell’inverno 2019 (n.d.r. che intendano dicembre?). 

L’anime si intitolerà “Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan Psi Shidou-hen” (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Reawakened) e sarà diretto ancora una volta da Hiroaki Sakurai (Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Movie: Gyakushuu no Milky Holmes) e prodotto presso J.C.Staff (DanMachi, Food Wars!) e Egg Firm. Al cast già conosciuto si vanno ad aggiungere altri due personaggi.

On August 1st 2013, a Shounen Jump manga app called Jump Live was launched. The app was Shueisha's first attempt at creating a mobile app service. Jump Live offered manga, anime and other services to browse for free, but some of the content required a paid subscription.

Along with the Saiki Kusuo No Psi Nan manga and the Flash anime, the app offered a mobile game.

L’episodio andrà in onda il 28 dicembre in Giappone.

Shueisha ha svelato che l’adattamento animato del manga “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.” (Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan) di Shuichi Aso si concluderà con uno speciale televisivo. L’episodio andrà in onda su TV Tokyo la mattina del 28 dicembre di quest’anno e durerà 55 minuti.

Seiichi Tanabe y Yuki Uchida se unen al reparto de la película live-action de Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan

La película se estrenará el 21 de octubre 

La edición 25 de la revista Weekly Shonen Jump de Shueisha ha revelado que Seiichi Tanabe y Yuki Uchida (a la derecha en la imagen de arriba) se están uniendo al reparto de la próxima película live-action adaptación del Manga Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan por Shuuichi Asou, como Kuniharu Saiki y Kurumi Saiki, los padres de Saiki, respectivamente. La película se estrenará el 21 de octubre en cines de Japón.

La historia original sigue a un estudiante de preparatoria llamado Kusuo Saiki. Él posee poderes sobrenaturales que causan eventos desafortunados en su vida diaria. 

El Manga ya ha inspirado un Anime para televisión estrenado en julio del 2016. Una secuela para el Anime ya ha sido anunciada.

El Manga también fue previamente adaptado en un Anime flash en Agosto del 2013.

Aso publico la serie Manga en la revista Weekly Shonen Jump en el 2012 después de dibujar versiones one-shot de la historia en la misma Weekly Shonen Jump y en la revista Jump Next en 2011.
