Depuis le 1er juillet, la Ville de Saint-Dizier, en partenariat avec l'Office Français de la Biodiversité (OFB), a entrepris un projet de création de trois mares forestières dans la zone humide située derrière la maison de l'ONF au Vert-Bois. 💧🌿🦋

Ce projet s'inscrit dans une démarche globale de restauration des mares forestières et a été mené à bien par le pôle arbre de la ville. Les travaux se sont achevés le 26 juillet. 🌳

De retour !

Départ de Vitry-le-François à 13h15. On a rempli tous les bidons de gazouz pour lester un peu parce qu'apparemment les ponts sont bas vers St Dizier..

On commence donc directement par l'écluse du Désert. Un bateau est juste derrière nous, on lui fait signe d'avancer pour passer l'écluse avec nous

GROSSE ERREUR 😅 Les ventelles s'ouvrent tellement vite, on est brassé comme des oufs. On s'était amarré le plus près des portes possible pour laisser la place au bateau derrière nous.. un peu trop du coup vu qu'avec tout ce brassage avant/arrière, la proue du bateau se coince dans la porte de l'écluse, alors que l'eau continue à monter. Jordi tire sur la barre d'arrêt d'urgence. Le bateau derrière voyait carrément notre hélice. Quelques secondes et le morceau de béton de la porte lâche avec toute la pression de nos 45 tonnes.. ce qui évidemment créé une vague interminable dans l'écluse. Franchement la reprise de la navigation commençai fort 👌🏽

Bref, malgré tout ça, on récupère notre télécommande pour les prochaines écluses et un agent vnf vient débloquer l'écluse. On laisse passer le couple d'allemand derrière nous qu'on retrouvera à Orconte.

5 écluses plus tard, 19h, amarrage à Orconte, petit quai en pleine nature.

Petit verre de Raki pour célébrer la vie 🙌🏽😄

On continue demain direction Saint Dizier.

Two French pilots died after their Rafale jets crashed during a “training mission”

Two French fighter jets collided mid-air over northeastern France. The incident in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department involved two Rafale aircraft and occurred around midday on Wednesday. Both aircraft belong to the squadron stationed at the Saint-Dizier-Robinson Air Base, the army has told the press, stressing that all three officers are French nationals and not foreigners.  The pilot of one jet was injured in the incident but is alive and conscious after safely ejecting. The second aircraft had an instructor and a trainee aboard. Authorities launched a search-and-rescue operation; the location was cordoned off, and fire brigades were dispatched to the scene. Rescue workers discovered extensive debris from the incident, and later on Wednesday, President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that both missing airmen were dead. ”We learn with sadness of the deaths of Captain Sebastien Mabire and Lieutenant Matthis Laurens in an air accident during a Rafale training mission,” Macron posted on X, formerly Twitter. “The nation shares the grief of their families and brothers in arms.” French authorities said it was not immediately clear what caused the collision. The military is expected to investigate and report on the incident. Earlier reports suggested that the lost aircraft might have been Mirage jets rather than Rafales.

Two French pilots died on Wednesday after their Rafale jets collided in mid-air in eastern France, President Emmanuel Macron said, in a rare accident involving the cutting-edge military aircraft. One pilot ejected following the crash over northeastern France, but authorities had launched a desperate search for a missing instructor and a student pilot on the second jet. “We learn with sadness the death of Captain Sebastien Mabire and Lieutenant Matthis Laurens in an air accident in a Rafale training mission,” Macron posted on X, formerly Twitter. “The nation shares the grief of their families and brothers in arms at Air Base 113 in Saint-Dizier” in eastern France, he added. “One of the pilots was found safe and sound,” Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu said earlier on X. It was not immediately clear what caused the collision that authorities said occurred over Colombey-les-Belles, a town in northeastern France. “The military authorities will report on the causes of the accident,” said the local prefecture. The supersonic Rafale “multi-role” fighter — used to hunt enemy planes, strike ground and sea targets, carry out reconnaissance and even carry France’s nuclear warheads — has become a bestseller for the French arms industry. It was not the usual sonic boom of a fighter jet breaking the sound barrier, he said. “It was a strange noise, a percussive sound”. “I assumed that two planes had collided, but we didn’t believe it,” he said, adding that a road bordering a nearby forest had been cordoned off. In December 2007, a Rafale jet crashed near Neuvic in southwestern France. Investigators concluded that the pilot had become disorientated. That was believed to be the first crash of a Rafale. In September 2009, two Rafale aircraft went down as they flew back to the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle off the coast of Perpignan after completing a test flight. One pilot died. France has sold the Rafale to Egypt, India, Greece, Indonesia, Croatia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. Lecornu said in January that France had ordered 42 new Rafale fighter jets, with the first to be delivered in 2027. The French military has now ordered more than 230 Rafales since the jet went into service.
