Hi!! OC asks 24, 25, and 26 for Salice?
Omg hi love. Thank you so much for asking.
24. What is their sleeping pattern like? Do they snore? What do they like to sleep on? A soft or hard mattress?
Salice, although a vampire in several AUs, has a regular sleep schedule. She likes to go to sleep around 10 or 11 and wakes at 7 or 8 in the morning. Even when she's a vampire, she tries her best to sleep at night (especially since her partner would be asleep as well) and just do leisurely indoor activities and catnap during the day. She does often snore but lightly. Fun fact, her vampire's curse actually cured her of her acute sleep apnea. Sisi loves expensive bedsheets. Silk, satin or furry sheets in the winter. And our girl loves a soft mattress. The largest and softest you can find.
25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?
Salice has the capacity to be a very serious person, but she does have a good sense of humor, especially when it comes to the people she cares about. She loves silly things even though they may seem like a waste of time: knock knock jokes, riddles, and puns are all so entertaining to her. She also loves when people fall or drop things. She can be sarcastic at times, loves to tease, and can be overly dramatic sometimes as well. This makes it easy for people around her to laugh. Often, close friends and family laugh at Salice instead of at a joke she might have made. She can be funny and cute without realizing it!
26. How do they act when they’re happy? Do they sing? Dance? Hum? Or do they hide their emotions?
Salice loves being happy. She'll have a wonderfully pleased smile on her face, sing any song that pops in her head, and sway beautifully as she goes about her day. She's very expressive of the good emotions, and if she's happy, you'll know!

Personality:
Yumi has many different facets to his personality. When he was younger, he was soft-spoken and wary of others. As he grew older, he was less afraid of other people than critical of them. As he gained confidence, what other people said mattered less and less to him. He was often judged harshly for his stylistic choices and mannerisms, but somehow managed to develop a self-assured and go-with-the-flow personality. His best friend and first boyfriend had a lot to do with this. They were opposites this way, Shuhei often being hot-headed and tightly wound, and Yumi being more calm and easygoing. When you get to know him, he makes a lot of jokes and can be very flirty. He's supportive and kind to the people that he cares about and gives a lot of good advice. He values close relationships and will do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares about. Yumi is very good at choosing his battles, which is something he learned at a very young age. Yumi is someone who will go to war for his family. Not necessarily the family he was born to, but most certainly the family he found.
About Him:
Yumi's household situation was less than ideal. His father, Daigo, was a small business owner. His mother, Erina, was a stay-at-home mother. His father urged him from a young age to take an apprenticeship at his business, but that was never in Yumi's interest. Daigo was never supportive of the things Yumi had taken an interest in as a child. He would urge him to spend more time doing things 'befitting of a boy'. He would threaten to cut his hair and burn his clothes and toys. This quickly caused a divide between Yumi and his father, so quickly that Yumi can hardly recall a time when he liked his father.
He spent a lot of time with his mother because of this. She bought him his first fish, which they kept in their koi pond outside. They would often bond with activities such as these, which increasingly damaged the family dynamic with Daigo. Yumi saw how these actions affected his father and chose to stay away from home as much as possible. He didn't understand why he had to choose between a close relationship with his mother and his family's safety, but he had learned very quickly that causes have effects.
Between his time at home and at school, Yumi found refuge at a tattoo parlor down the road, where an astounding artist did his work. Nozomi Ito, he was called, lived there with his son and young daughter. He took a liking to Yumi and he often spent time with them when he couldn't stomach being home. In fact, he spent so much time there that Ito's daughter, Jasika, and Yumi became as close as siblings.
Meanwhile, Daigo's business was failing. After bankruptcy, he was desperate for a source of income. He had begun farming like many of the other families in the province, but it was not enough.
Jumping on the first opportunity at a lump sum, Daigo had hastily promised his only son to the daughter of the Hada family. They were a well-to-do family with a barren daughter, so Daigo's desperation was equal to the Hadas' desire to find a husband for their daughter. Erina was furious about Daigo's decision to marry their son off to someone he didn't know at such a young age, but it was final. At eight years old, Yumi didn't understand what engagement meant. He met Tsumugi-Gen shortly after the engagement was finalized. The two got along quite well and became friends. The families allowed them to wait to be married until they were of legal age so that the children could focus on their educations.
After this event, the Ishizaki family was at its weakest. Daigo began to take out his many frustrations on his resentful wife and helpless son, with many arguments and threats. Yumi had been hit many times, but never retaliated until he saw his mother being abused.
Yumi couldn't stand to watch his mother be punished for things they couldn't control. Yumi thought if he was just a better boy, then all of this would never happen. He thought if he disappeared, things would be better for them.
He applied for the prestigious Ishikawa Academy, where Kyoh's best and brightest were cultivated into the most important and influential figures in the country. He deemed it the golden ticket to run away from home and provide the means for his mother to finally leave his father. The Hada family wrote him a recommendation letter that helped him get into the academy. At eight years old, he packed his things and was gone, living between the Hada family home and Ito's house until he was accepted and escorted to the academy where he spent the next fourteen years of his life.
After graduation, Yumi stayed in Kyoh for a short while. He ended things with his first love to marry Tsumugi as he'd promised. After a year of marriage, his wife could see he was not fulfilled. It was hard to do, yet she told him the marriage could be annulled. He'd already done more than what was expected of him, she said, and the marriage was something that neither of them chose. Yumi had a heavy heart but they agreed that it was the best option and he assured her it was never anything she could have changed. He loved her, but not in the way that was expected of them.
Yumi then took his degree and used it to move to a bustling metropolis. He easily obtained work writing for an informer, work he was overqualified for but loved nonetheless. He lived alone with his cat for months, plagued by strange dreams he could not properly control. Dreams he's had ever since he was a child.
It was here in this place he met the girl that would open his eyes and become his forever partner.

Personality:
Charlie is quite shy and is slow to trust. She suffers from severe anxiety and undiagnosed ADHD. She finds that being alone is easier than trying to make friends, but she loves when a friend finds her. She's sarcastic and funny when you get to know her, but very few people get to this point. Otherwise, people might assume she's rude, scary, or standoffish because of her appearance. The tattoos, piercings, and resting scowl don't help this assumption but keeps away men who try to talk to her. She always has an earbud in, listening to her favorite music. She enjoys hard rock music and alternative. Anything with heavy bass guitar or guitar elements, in general, is gonna be her go-to. Charlie is very kind if you're close to her, but she does know how to hold a grudge. She doesn't forgive easily.
About Her:
Charlie grew up with her parents, Alan and Amadea, and her older brother Daniel. Her mother is a nurse and her father is almost always involved in some type of criminal activity. Because of this, they're well off, but always in some element of danger. He tried his best to keep his family separate from his work, creating a sheltered environment for them. Alan and Amadea met when he was young, always getting into trouble and visiting the hospital frequently. She was working as a nurse there at the time. They fell in love and eventually settled down, having their first son at a relatively young age. Four years later, they had their second child, Charlie. Daniel and Charlie get along, but he's very protective, coming across as a bit of an asshole sometimes. He cares about her deeply and keeps her out of trouble, even though some would assume it's the other way around. They both like to smoke and drink and get into fights. Charlie is more reckless than her brother. He does his best to protect and bail her out when she needs help, but never without a good scolding. Charlie eventually loses her mother due to Alan's work. This shakes the family dynamic, separating them emotionally. They try to repair their family, but it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of love.

Disappear
@asranemesis
~~~
"And what happens if I disappear?"
Bellamy reached for his mother, who knelt down by his bedside at his question. She was just reading him nighttime stories uncle Yumi had written for him and for his cousin Nell. This particular story had been about a magic peacock, and when the peacock touched you with its feathers... you disappear.
"Oh, Bellamy, dear. It's just a story, you won't disappear."
Salice cleared curly mess of hair from her son's face. He look up at her with her very own green eyes... with a gentle and inquisitive gaze, which he had gotten from his father.
Bellamy sighed and looked over the edge of the bed, towards his bin of toys. That gentle look surrendered something likening to grief. An apathetic bastardization of grief. A complex emotion for a six year old to show. His voice was heavy when he spoke, barely above a mutter.
"But momma... sometimes I just want to disappear. Things might be easier?"
Salice's heart and stomach sink into the floor. Bellamy, her little ray of sunshine... had just told her he wanted to disappear? She hadn't anticipated figuring something like this out so soon... she was still figuring out her own bout with wanting to disappear. She and her sister, Charlie. They had both struggled with that.
"Honey..." Salice caressed Bellamy's bruised cheek. He and Nell liked to wrestle, and even though Bellamy was bigger... Nell was quite the fighter. Just like his parents.
"Sometimes... we all want to disappear. You think it might be easier, but we don't know."
She presses a gentle kiss to his forehead.
"Whenever you feel like disappearing... come tell me. We'll... we'll... we'll both disappear in daddy's big arms, okay?"
That was all she had. She couldn't tell him anything else. There wasn't anything she could make up so soon... that seemed genuine anyway. Disappearing into her husband's arms was probably the best thing that could happen to her right now. She needed help figuring this out. Figuring out how to help someone else when you're barely keeping yourself together as it is.
Bellamy manages to smile. "Daddy does give the best hugs."
Salice nods. "Yes, he does... He will be home soon. Daddy will give you your goodnight hug... even if you are asleep. Just like he always does."
Bellamy grabs his mother's hand before she turns to walk to the door.
"You need a goodnight hug, too, momma."
Salice takes a deep breath, holding back her tears before turning to envelope her son in her arms. His little arms and his little hands squeezed her tighter than she thought he could have.
"Oh, baby... oh I love you."
Salice couldn't quite disguise the crack in her voice as she was both hurt and comforted by her son all in the same minute. She hugged the clingy boy until he wanted to let go, and even that seemed way too short.
"I love you too, momma."
Salice kisses his head and his nose and pulls the covers up tight around his body before lighting a small ball of magic and sticking it above his doorframe. That was his nightlight. She made it for him every night. Salice feared the day he would tell her he didn't need it... even then.. she would probably still make it. She couldn't bear to think of a time where that wouldnt be routine.
She eyed the soft green light before cracking his door and going to get undressed for bed.
***
Daniel came through the door not too long after, maybe an hour. Bellamy was fast asleep, but Salice was wide awake. She lay on the couch, curled up with their old dog Blue, who snored softly on her breasts. Her tired eyes were trained on the heavy oak door that, in fact, Daniel had actually carved himself. She blinked twice when she heard the keys jangle in the lock and the sticky knob finally give. She was up in a second, and before he could step one foot into the house, she was there taking his bag.
"Oh.. hello love. Sorry I'm late co-"
He couldn't get his words out before Salice's arms were around his neck, squeezing him to high heaven. He tensed with the shock, but slowly relaxed as the mother of his child ran her nails along the back of his neck and pressed her body to his. He wrapped his big, strong arms around her waist, smaller now that all her new motherhood weight had almost disappeared. He had never fallen out of love with her shape. He squeezed that shape, feeling the softness of her underneath her nightgown, his hands travelling down her back. He took a deep breath of her sweet, warm scent and held her by the hips to get a good look at her. Her eyes were already droopy with sleep. But there was something else there too. He cupped her face when he noticed.
"Salice... is everything okay?"
She sighed and shook her head, biting on her pretty finger. "Daniel... Bellamy told me he wanted to disappear... That it would be easier to disappear..."
Before her husband returned home, repeatedly in her mind, she asked herself... 'what thing is more scary and fucked up than your young son telling you so nonchalantly that it would be easier to disappear?'
She couldnt name a single thing.
When Salice said her words, Daniel's face fell, and his hold on his wife loosened. He could see the tears in her eyes as she tried to go on, so he shook his head to stop her.
"Sisi... I'm not going to let that happen. We'll... we'll all talk about it together, okay? That's something... we really need to talk to him about. We'll do it soon..."
Salice nods, Daniel's deep voice bringing her comfort. He kisses her forehead soothingly, rubbing the sides of her hips. Ever since she was a teenager, she had been safe in these arms. He turned and walked her gently to their bedroom, stopping in quickly to hugs and kiss Bellamy in his sleep.
This time, Daniel took a little longer pressing his lips to the boy's cheek. He took his time carefully engulfing him into his arms. He held him as tight as he could without waking him. Salice stood in the doorway, her arms folded. It was hard to smile, feeling so distressed. The image of her husband and son was normally enough to make her swell with warmth and joy, but this time it was hard: feeling anything else but fear.
Daniel spoke softly to Bellamy's hear.
"Don't worry, Bell...I'm not going to let you disappear. Not you, not mommy... not aunt Charlie... not anybody."
Bellamy opened his groggy eyes for just a split second before they closed and he was lost into sleep.
That second was enough to understand that he had two people, who would go to the ends of the earth to make sure that he did not disappear.
Drowned Into Oblivion
[TW: Suicide]
_________________________________________
“I think I am going insane...”
Salice stared up at the moon. The wind stirred her brown tresses, tugging her clothes toward the dark raging waters in the distance. The hungry tides scrapped at her ankles, the pink sand beneath the white water threatening to swallow her toes. She was on an Orasan beach. This was the closest to and furthest away she had ever felt she was from home.
She walked out to the water, shin deep, thigh deep, waist deep, until she was nearly engulfed in the waves. Still she didn’t take her eyes off the moon. The moon was the only thing that had been making any sense to her lately. When the moon spoke to her, she heard her sister's voice.
I think you already have.
“Maybe you’re right.”
Salice spoke in a soft and broken voice and closed her green eyes, two gentle drops of anguish going to join their brothers and sisters in the large, churning vat of the sea. They rolled down her face, dripping one after the other into the water, which had now had come to lick her neck. She was standing, barely, the underwater currents threatening to tear her apart. She wished they’d hurry up.
Her lip wavered and her heart collapsed in on itself, seeming to implode and create a black hole that would devour her very existence. Her memory, her legacy, any evidence of her at all... the vortex would gobble it up. She would disappear, leaving the world one short.
One beautiful mind short.
One caring heart short.
One tortured soul short.
So Salice stood there, while the rabid maw of her own despair and the inviting lips of the ocean bickered on who was going to gorge themselves upon her.
Or maybe they would share.
Salice waited while they settled her fate. She waited while they settled on how they would make it all stop.
The simpers of the curious gulls, the hushing of the waves back on the shore, and the wind spiraling over the surface of the ocean were the only breaks in the silence. All beautiful and natural sounds.
Salice appreciated the the serenity of her grave.
The ocean used its foam to caress Salice’s neck, letting her know it was time to come home. The warm waters had just ascended up the long, poised line of her throat. Her airways were blocked by her own tears, either too cowardly or too proud to escape the prison of her lips in sobs. Words now were no longer useful to her. The rising tide took her chin and lips, soon after ushering her into the soundless underwater world of peace. The touch of the sea was welcoming. It had missed her, and it wanted her back with it.
Some of the most horrific years of her life had been spent on the sea. Maybe now the sea could make up for time its made her suffer. Maybe now the sea could do her a service and take her where she belonged.
It was completely quiet under the waves. The sand had slowly released her, making her free to drift into the ocean’s open embrace. She was suspended in time, it seemed. She was floating. Her hair came off her shoulders and gathered around her face like the storm clouds that had followed her for all this time.
She was nothing and everything all at the same time.
It was tranquil... it was unsettlingly ironic.
If drowning was so easy... why had she fought so long for air?
Why had she ever wanted to?
Salice felt like she was drowning every day, further and further back into the recesses of her own mutilated mind. She had been battling it, struggling against the forces that had wanted to kill her. Like her love had said: she was a fighter.  Lately though, she was squandered. Her mouth being filled with a deluge of false recitations, ones she would choke on as she tried to reassure herself that she was alright. Her ears being filled with the deafening expectations that Salice was always so unsure that she’d fulfill and the people she always so certain she’d disappoint. Her eyes were being pervaded by the inconceivable amount of darkness that she could not banish, no matter how hard she tried. So this time, she’d close her eyes to invite it.
If her mind was destined to be drug down to ruin, and drowned into oblivion...
She might as well drown her body too.
~~
Salice waited a moment. Just listening. She was waiting for something, although she wasn’t quite sure what she was waiting on. She had waited long enough for something like this to happen. The moon and the ocean looked at each other inquisitively, mistaking her stillness for hesitation. Just to ensure she was certain, they asked her a final, damning question.
Do you want to die, Salice?
“Yes.”
Shut Up and Let Me
Daniel x Salice Lemon
_______________________________
“Mm....” Salice groaned groggily as she turned over in bed. Daniel was late getting home again from a night at the bar. He was with Yumi this time. He had asked if she’d wanted to come, but she politely declined. She was glued to him most of the time, and she figured that some time alone with his friend would do him good.
“I’ll be here when you get back. Don’t worry. Go have fun with Yumi.”
Daniel was reluctant to leave her, but Salice grabbed his jacket and pushed him out the door. “Go, shoo. Goodbye.”
Daniel was laughing at her. She’s gotten strong since he met her. He barely managed to grab his housekey as his girlfriend planted her hands on his back and shoved him with all her might through the front door. He turned around and caught her in the doorway, his hands coming down and gripping her right underneath her thighs. She squealed as he hoisted her up on his waist and held her close to him. His face was close to hers, lips brushing against her ear. His stubble tickled her cheek as he placed a few kisses by her ear. The sound of his love’s laughter made his stomach flutter. He definitely didn’t want to leave her now.
“Don’t drink so much that you can’t find your way back home,” she whispered, squeezing him with her legs. Salice placed her hands on either side of Daniel’s face, delicately dragging her fingertips down from his temple to his jaw. He pressed his lips to her face again, holding her up with ease.
Daniel separated from her for just a moment to admire her pretty face. Her green eyes glittered in the porchlight, which cast gentle shadows on her smooth brown skin. Her button nose twitched and her lips turned up gently into a sweet smile. This was the girl of his dreams. She looked at him for moment through lidded eyes. She adored the way he looked and all of his features: his own chestnut skin, kissed by the sun; his sharp nose, crooked from a few barfights; his dark eyes and long lashes that she thought were prettier than her own; the scar that ran down his cheek, down through his face like a river. Her man. She loved the sweet, yet rugged look of her man.
“Don’t worry about that, love. I’ll always come home to you.”
Gently, he let her down, her feet were bare against the cold concrete outside their apartment. Her small, loose shorts were stirred by the wind, showing her panties underneath. He notices the way the shirt she’s wearing catches between her breasts. Her long curls, a little frizzy from the day, were tossed around by the wind. He smiles and shakes his head, just in awe at her.
“Okay. I trust you. Have fun, Dani.”
He pulled her close again and kissed her lips, slow and soft and open mouthed. Their tongues touched for only a moment before she pushed him away. “Go! You’re tempting me.”
And so he went. He met up with Yumi at his apartment in Goldgrave, maybe a 30 minute walk and knocked on his door. The two went out to their favorite place, not too far from where Yumi stayed. They sat in a corner booth like they normally did and ordered food. They drank about 3 bottles between he two of them, holding it down like the veteran drinkers they are.
A few girls approached them, how could they not? Two quiet, attractive young men sitting close together and downing expensive liquor. One in particular, thought it was going to be easy for the two of them to take her home with them. Yumi and Daniel were quick to decline.
“No... we’re spoken for,” Yumi said unimpressed, waving her away. He took another drink, barely even looking at her. He eyed the cigarette burns on her bare thigh. Poor thing, Yumi thought. But she was nothing but trouble.
The girl frowned, but didn’t let up. Maybe if the light, long haired one wasn’t so receptive, she’d try the roughhewn one. She took a liking to his facial hair, his bulging Adam’s apple. His scar. She circled around the booth and stood close to Daniel, who scooted away from her in abhorrence.
“I don’t see them here?” She says, reaching out to touch his arm. She smelled like strong perfume and cigarette smoke, a smell Daniel was used to having on him when he stumbled home in the morning. Not anymore. It was just shea butter and honey and all the pretty things Salice smelled like. He made a face at this woman’s hand. To think that he’d entertain this at all was... irritating.
He shrugged her hand away.
“What part of ‘we’re spoken for’ do you not understand?” He growled.
Daniel’s harsh tone made her recoil, and scoff. She looked the two men up and down indignantly, shifting on her too-high heels. She put her hands on her hips and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. She was pretty... but neither Yumi or Daniel thought so.
“Well, sorry. I thought you boys would’ve cracked. Most men do. Since your girls probably don’t put you like you like-”
Yumi nearly spit out his drink. The nerve, he thought.  He looked up with his slender blue eyes, glaring at the woman. He was unamused. “Listen, lady. At first we were being nice, but now you’re just insulting. If you’re too broke for a ride home, you could’ve just said so.”
Yumi’s sly tongue left her speechless... and offended. And very very humbled.
“You should go.” Daniel finished, giving her side-eye. His arms were folded on the table, his calloused hand swirling the last of his drink in the bottom of the glass. She stared at him for a moment before walking away.
“Fine.”
So it was then the both of them were left again once more in the stuffy atmosphere of the bar. Smoke swirled around them, carrying the faint trace of sex and burnt wood. Both of them downed what was in their glasses, and looked at each other like ‘what just happened’. Yumi chuckles a bit.
“I swear, Dane. I can’t take you anywhere, can I? Too handsome for your own good.”
Daniel shook his head. He looked down at the few ashes that had gotten on the table from his cigar. He toyed with them with his finger, dropping them into the ashtray in the center of the table, hidden amounts their bottles.
“Interesting to say the least,” Yumi continued. He stretched and put his arm around his friend, his flushed nose getting close to Daniel’s ear.
“Annoying.” This came as a grunt from Daniel, before a yawn came out of his lips. He thought he was ready to go home. Everything about that situation had turned him off. He just wanted to go home to hold his baby.
~~~
When Daniel arrived home, it was dark and quiet in the house. Salice had left a light on, the hall light. He smelled cookies, the snickerdoodle ones she liked. She must’ve made them while he was gone. This made him smile as he made his way further into the house. He shrugged off his jacket and peeked into their bedroom, careful not to make too much noise. Salice was tucked in bed, the covers up to her chin. He could barely see her face, just her messy mop of hair spilling over his pillow. She had settled in on his side, just like she always did while he was gone. Her feet were peeking out from under the blanket, and he noticed her white toes. She had painted her nails while he was gone... how cute.
She had left a candle burning, one of the ones she made. It made the house smell like roses. The man left his jacket draped on the doorknob and took off his boots at the bedroom door. The only noise in the room was the flickering flame of the candle and her soft snoring. Daniel grabbed her foot, the soft skin so squishy on his fingers. He tucked it underneath the blanket before blowing out the candle. He placed a kiss to her forehead before deciding to go wash the bar scum off of him.
“Mm, Dani?” She moaned in her sleep, looking up with sleepy eyes.
“Yeah, love. I’m gonna take a shower and I’ll come to bed.” He pet her hair once and let his hand slide down her hip as he left to go toward the bathroom. He heard her mumble some unintelligible in that sweet voice of hers. He couldn’t finish showering fast enough.
After brushing the cigar from his teeth and towel drying his hair, Daniel put on some loose pants and tiptoed back into the room. Not much had changed, but Salice had managed to take more of the covers for herself. She was a peacefully bundled lump of fluffy blanket. He threw his towel on the end of the bed and climbed in with her, on her side. The warmth of her was so comforting to him.
“Mm...” she reached for him, prompting him to scoot closer. She so gnerously let him into the covers. Daniel took her into his arms and kissed her forehead gently. His hands explored her form, every curve of her, every fold, inspecting the fabric that kept her body from him. She had changed out of her clothes from earlier, opting for one of his shirts and nothing else. He didn’t feel any underwear lines on her legs, or any straps through the shirt on her back. She smelled like she had taken a shower too. Her skin was soft, and supple. She always smelled so good.
“Did you have fun? How’s Yumi?” She murmured, burying her face into the skin of his neck. She fit one of her legs between his and placed her warm palms on his ribs. Daniel couldn’t decide if his body wanted to tense at the way she touched him, or relax.
“He’s fine. And it was a good time... but being with you would’ve been better.”
Salice purred, placing a sloppy kiss on Daniel’s lips, taking him by surprise. She was happy to have her man back at home. She missed him a bit, even though he was only gone for a few hours. She missed his heartbeat, his smell, his strong hands gripping her flesh, his lips against hers in those lazy, nasty kisses they liked to give each other.
Salice slipped her tongue into his mouth, sliding her hands around his waist and down into his the waistband of his pants. He held her close to him, that familiar softness giving him... just the opposite sensation.
“Mmf... baby...” he groaned, running his hands down to her hips. The shirt had hiked up, revealing soft and bare skin that he knew all too well. His fingers were tempted to touch her, touch her in that special way she liked. He sighed into her mouth, knowing that this could go two ways. He was tired, sleepy, and he knew she was too. He wanted to have her when she was awake, when she wasn't so sleepy. He didn't mean to disturb her rest. "You don't need to..."
“Mm... okay.... fine." She whispered. There was sweetness on her lips. She'd had a few cookies before bed, he was sure.
"At least... Shut up and let me..." She reached down, into his pants and took Daniel in her hand, stroking him gently. He was already half hard, growing stronger by the second. He sighed her name, holding her close. She worked magic on him with her hand, placing kisses on his neck and collarbone. When he was stiff, she pulled her hand out of his pants and let a glob of spit fall onto her palm. Her eyes weren't even fully open, Daniel noticed. He couldn't believe her, she was just so.... perfect.
It wasn't long before he was close, biting his lip and trying not to buck his hips. Salice was busy, jerking him with her eyes closed. Her cheek was pressed to his chest and her breaths were soft and sweet. Daniel pet her hair, pressing kisses to her head, grunting soft praises to her.
"In my mouth?" She asked.
Daniel's stomach dropped. He... he wasn't going to let her that. As wonderful as it sounded, she's already done so much.
"Ah.. no, love. It's alright. Just.. ah.. keep going."
Salice did as she was told and began squeezing his slick tip gently, her rubbing getting faster. Daniel screwed his eyes shut as he whispered to her. "I'm coming, ugh... fuck."
Salice felt the warm liquid shoot into her hand. She kept it as controlled as she could, letting it coat her palm and fingers. Daniel was breathless, reaching for the towel from his shower. He wiped Salice's hand and the few drops of him that got onto his stomach.
He looked at her. She was looking up at him smiling. When they met eyes, something in him just... melted.
"Mm.. how was that?"
Daniel couldn't help but smile a bit, throwing the towel away to the side of the bed. He pulled his love's hand to his lips and kissed the back of it, hugging her tight. His lips magnetically found hers, fitting together softly. He slipped his tongue between them, washing her mouth in all his gratitude. He spoke breathlessly between kisses.
"Sisi... Sisi.... I love you."

Crying Over Cheesecake
@asranemesis
I had written another version but the page reloaded and I lost it. I was reaaaally upset. Anyway, here’s Salice and Charlie.
~~~
Salice laid on the couch with her cheek squashed on her pillow of hands, laying daintily on the armrest, while everyone talked jovially around her. She wasn’t doing much else. Her body was still and she was breathing slowly, the blanket around her keeping out the cold from the ceiling fan. She watched as a curl danced miserably in the corner of her vision. She was just staring into space. Silent.
Her day at work had been not so good. It took all of her energy to even be out in the living room with everyone. It would’ve taken more of that elusive energy to trudge up the stairs, shower and climb into Daniel’s bed, so of course she stayed here on the sofa. But if it was going to be like this... this lonely in a room full of people, she rather would’ve just been alone to begin with.
She had been a part of the conversation between her friends maybe thirty minutes before, but only for a moment. They asked her a question, one Salice was too bitter to remember, and went right back to talking. The small details she had managed to get out seemed to come from her lips and frivolously go on the wind, in everyone’s left ear and out of the right. They didn’t ask about her. Today she just didn’t seem important. She didn’t have the energy today to make herself seem important. When she wasn’t a rowdy little pup, Salice felt like she was just... Invisible.
Salice knew she didn’t have to be the center of attention every second of everyday. But she at least wanted to be in orbit, especially today. But she wasn’t. She was the comet turned cold, drifting far, far away on the edge of the galaxy of everyone’s priorities. There were some days that you want to feel listened to, and important, and worthy of attention. After how terrible her day was, after getting yelled at by ungrateful people and pushed around by bullies, she really needed someone to pet her and reverse the damage. Sometimes, the days you wanted that, were the days you didn’t get it. But you ask for what you want, right?
She didn’t want to have to ask, as silly as that sounded. She just wanted someone to notice. She didn’t understand why she operated in such a backward and confusing way... but she couldn’t deny that’s how she felt and that it was all the truth. Just ask for what you want, right? Sometimes it was harder to do than this. Just moping. In saying so, she continued to stare, and just try going to take a nap as she usually did.
After an hour, the door opened briefly, the warm autumn evening trying to come into the apartment along with Charlie. She waved to someone outside, presumably Heidi, and shut the door. Her ruby red curls bounced in her ponytail as she turned to greet everyone with a smile. She carried a small dessert box in her hand, a fancy white one. The younger Reyes sibling scanned the room with focused brown eyes and they met with Salice’s. Something about that brought a ray of sun to cut through Salice’s gloomy aura.
Charlie came over to sit next to Salice immediately, laying on her slightly. Her thighs were warm on Salice’s feet, the denim of her oversized jeans making static noises on the blanket. She leaned on Salice’s body and handed her the box.
“I brought you something.”
Salice blinked and sat up, her knuckles leaving a red mark on her cheek from laying on her hands for too long. She looked at the box and almost fell apart.
“It’s the kind with the chocolate shavings, because I know you like that one.”
Salice took the box in her hand and opened it. Sure enough there was a slice of her favorite cheesecake from a restaurant she really, really liked over in Goldgrave. Charlie had said she was going there this week, but Salice had forgotten all about it. Something in this act of kindness made Salice break like a dam. Emotion welled up inside her and threatened to spill over in the form of tears. Salice choked them back, sitting up a little and staring down at her gift. Charlie had been so thoughtful.
“You remembered which one I liked,” the green eyed girl murmured, marveling at the expert craftsmanship of that singular slice of cheesecake. She took a little scoop of the dollop of merengue on the top and held it to her lips to taste daintily.
“Of course I did.” Charlie raised her eyebrow to indicate that remembering your sister’s favorite dessert from her favorite restaurant wasn’t a very challenging thing to do. Salice was glad somebody had thought so.
“Thanks Charlie...” Salice murmured, her voice beginning to get wet like rain.
Charlie gave her a once over, immediately knowing something was up with her. She made room on the couch and kicked off her shoes, cuddling under Salice and wrapping her arms around her. Salice took another lick of her merengue before reaching to put the box on the coffee table. She held Charlie close and brought her under the blanket. If nobody else, Charlie was the one Salice could count on. She was the one that would notice her.
 Always.
I'm Here Now (Charlie x Sisi)
@asranemesis
Writing prompt from:
Salice tucked her hair behind her ear as she walked up the steps to the Reyes' apartment. The wind teased at her skirt and the leftover droplets of the early spring showers clung to her legwarmers as she pushed past the four o'clock plants on the front stoop. She reached inside her purse for her own copy of the apartment key, but before she could find it, the door opened on its own.
"Hey, Sisi."
A deep gravelly voice greeted her as the heavy, oak door swung open. He always made everything look so easy.
"Oh, good afternoon, Dani. How'd you know I was here?"
Salice let herself in, taking off her shoes in the entryway before coming any further into the apartment. A warm, sweet, pleasant smell kissed the tip of her nose, and she couldn't tell if it was Daniel, or what he happened to be cooking. She could never tell.
"I saw you walking," he pointed sleepily to the upstairs, stifling a yawn. He worked nights, so when he came home in the morning he'd head straight to sleep. Then he was up like clockwork around 3 or 4 pm, have his afternoon smoke and get ready for his day with a cup of coffee.
"I was taking a smoke on the balcony."
Salice had already known.
Daniel scratches his beard and smiles at his neighbor and longtime friend, who stands as daintily as she does everything else, clasping her hands in front of her. She looks down at the half-finished cigarette in his hand and she shakes her head good-naturedly.
"You didn't have to come all the way down here to let me in... go finish your smoke. I'll make you a coffee. Macchiato?"
Daniel beams, looping Salice in for a swift kiss to her temple. "Mh.. Such a sweet girl. I'll be down in a minute. Charlie's in her room."
Salice let Daniel's large tattooed arm engulf her, and she hugged him, her small hands covering only a fraction of his shoulder blade. A smile kissed her lips when she heard Daniel mention her girlfriend's name. Only for a moment, though.
As Daniel trudged back up the steps, Salice's green eyes scoured the clock, trying to make sense of the time.
"Still? It's almost four?"
Daniel's bass voice carries through the house, although it was only a mumble.
"You know how she is... she'll sleep through the end of the world if you let her."
That was the last Salice heard of him before he disappeared into his bedroom again. She decided to start his coffee, but she found that she couldn't concentrate. As she opened the refrigerator to grab the milk she needed, and the cupboard for the cinnamon and the coffee beans her mind kept driving back to her sleeping girlfriend. She had come over for a date... a date that Charlie wasn't yet ready for?
Charlie did take a long time to get ready, but she never made Sisi wait for anything.
Once the coffee was going, Salice gave in and broke away from her current task. Biting a perfectly manicured nail, she tiptoed up the stairs until her nose was only centimeters from the door. She knocked gently with her knuckle.
"Charlie, baby.... May I come in?"
There wasn't much of an answer. Just a disheveled grunt and the rustling of covers. Salice took this as an invitation, a reluctant one if anything, so she opened the door slowly.
There wasn't a single bit of light coming in, the blackout curtains creating a void. Salice could barely make out the shapes of mounds of clothes, scattered about the floor. The lump in the messy bed said it all.
Salice's heart sunk. The last time she had seen Charlie like this is when Hazel had left the city. Missing her friend had spiraled into something far worse, and Salice was afraid that far worse thing had manifested itself in Charlie's life again. She didn't want that for her love. She did not want that at all.
"I'm gonna open the curtains, okay?"
Salice's voice was like a spring song as she whispered to Charlie. Her delicate fingers inched open the curtains only a little bit so only a soft stream of light crept in, enough to take the room from dreary pitch-black to softly glowing with optimism. Salice seemed to bring the light with her anywhere, and even from her place under the covers (which she had no interest in leaving at the moment), Charlie knew that.
"You want to come downstairs? Have some coffee? You've been in bed all day, you should eat."
Charlie blinked fully awake, staring at her best friend of three years. Her heart ached a little, seeing how hopeful she was. How kind she was being. Charlie knew they had a date, she knew she had overslept since she had stayed up so late the night before drinking her pain away. And still, Sisi didn't seem mad. She seemed more concerned than anything, which was so like her.
"N...no... it's okay, Sisi. I'll just stay here in bed."
Salice didn't like this answer, coming to sit on the side of her bed. She searched over the mess of covers for Charlie's foot, which she held in her warm hand and rubbed circles on softly with her fingers. Charlie melted when Salice touched her. There was no better therapy.
"Okay... then I'll just stay here with you?"
Charlie's breath stopped in her throat. She didn't know what she expected. Even after their months of being together, she was always blown away by Salice's gestures of love and kindness. She could never seem to get it wrapped around her mind that Sisi loved her as much as she did. She never thought that love was for her. And time and time again, Salice was showing Charlie, this love was indeed for her.
"Okay..."
With her permission, Salice crawled underneath the covers, taking the opportunity to wrap her arms around Charlie. Her thin top allowed Charlie to feel the warmth of her body as Salice pressed her soft breasts against her back. Goosebumps rose on Charlie's skin as Salice's mouth settled near her ear. She had just become Charlie's big spoon. And it was a perfect fit.
"I'm here now... okay?"
Charlie told herself she didn't need to cry. But the closer Sisi got to her, the more she wanted to let all of this out. She didn't even know what "it" was, but she was feeling a lot of something. And it hurt so much more than she could've imagined.
Charlie's small tremors rouse caution in Salice, and she begins to take Charlie's messy red curls and toss them like a tangle of ivy vines. Sorting through them, untangling them, moving them away from Charlie's neck so that Sisi could leave a few soft kisses there. Salice breathed soft and slow, leaving a small mark when she sucked on her love's skin. Charlie felt the tenderness in each gesture, and she let it warm her to the core. Salice's words were like a prayer, and her presence was like a blessing.
"I'm here now baby... And I won't leave."
🌲 Pragma - During the last scene you wrote/thought of with your character, who have they loved the longest? By the time they pass on, does that person change?
So there’s different types of love of courseeeeee. I’ll just list for my characters!!
Sisi: Sisi has loved her adoptive father for the longest by far, longer than she’s loved her real parents since she sees them as more of a fond memory than actually loved ones. Sisi will never stop loving Dabney. Sisi’s longest friend is Charlie, and in a way was her very first love. Charlie was so many of her firsts, and they will never grow apart. Daniel is Salice’s first romantic love, and he is everything to her. He introduced a lot of her firsts as well: her first surprise date, her first kiss, her first time. Salice, over time, collects and is powered by the love of her family, and although all three of these people have done very different things for her, (her father, her best friend, and her lover) they have loved her like a family should. They’re kind of like... the trifecta of her longest love!
Yumi: Yumi’s mother holds a special place in his heart and is his longest love. He’s only felt the obsessive need to protect two other people; his best friend and former lover Shuhei and his partner Charlie. He’d known Shuhei since he was 12 years years old, and had grown to love him as a best friend but also a lover. Yumi’s feelings for Shuhei will never change, but they have a place. Should the two ever meet again, their long love will be the love of soulmates. They belong to one another but not in a way that either of them can understand. As Yumi grows older, he finds that he will love Charlie stronger and longer than anyone he’s ever loved before. So that’s his trifecta: parent, best friend, and lover.
Shuhei: Shuhei’s love for his sister transcends any love he’s felt in his early years. She is the person he loves for the longest in his life. Like Yumi, he is in love with his long-time best friend and even after the romantic love wanes, they still have a forever bond. As Shuhei grows older, he realizes the strongest, longest most intense romantic love he will ever feel will be for his wife @iridescella‘s Isabella Zieragh.
Hyde and Heidi: The longest love they’ve had is each other. There is nothing these two wouldn’t do to keep the other safe and not anyone can truly understand the depths of their love. Strengthed by Somraldic Prarie magi, their bond is unbreakable.
Jacquard: Although Jay has a complicated relationship with his mother, she is his longest love. His most important one until he meets @asranemesis Charlie Reyes. Although he loves Charlie with all of his heart, his duty lies with his family. Before he passes on, I think he may realize that deep down, he loved Charlie with a passion and intensity that burned within him for longer than he could’ve ever imagined a love could.
Jasika: Jasika’s longest love would be her brother. There is nobody in the world that loved her more, and although she might have had trouble communicating it while he was alive, she hopes he can understand her feelings now. Jashi even has a shrine for him. She visits it every day in a ritual that she does not break under any circumstances, and wherever she may travel to, she makes a little one to honor him. Her brother is the single person that had never abandoned her, and so she loves him with all of her heart. There will never be anyone she loves more than him, and there will never be a time where she’s loved anybody longer.
Zelda: Zelda’s longest love would have to be Death. They’ve known one another since she was a child and in a way, they have fallen in love. Death understands everything about her and is often a comfort to her in her dreams. Her personification of Death is a Centaur named Jallemort that visits her in her mind. Zelda’s power is so strong that one day, she manifests Jallemort to reality and they engage in a short relationship before she finally heeds his call to be with him for eternity.
Yousef: Yousef has grown to have a disdain for many things, so to choose his longest love is difficult. His longest love would be power and control, rather than an actual person. After his life events, he realizes that his sister and his fanon partner @knight-engale‘s Morgan Drakos are the people who mean the most to him, and by the time he passes they will be his longest loves.
Side Character Series
Nautilus Ruselius: The Undertaker from Zadith
Birthplace: Somrald, Zadith
Race/Nationality: Black Zadithian(?)
Familiar: Atlas the Ox
Familial/Other Relationships
Sister: Alyssum Ruselius
Ex-Wife: Monica Oiko
Children: Barnabus and Heidi Ruselius
Nautilus Ruselius was born and raised in a small country town called Somrald in Zadith. Between working on his family’s farm, he studied to become an undertaker, becoming the sole mortician in his hometown from the young age of sixteen. Nautilus married his childhood sweetheart in his early twenties and had two children with her: twins Barnabus and Heidi. When his wife is discovered to be involved in an affair with another man in Somrald, Nautilus and his wife, Monica, separated. Barnabus and Heidi barely salvaged their relationship with their mother, and they choose to live with Nautilus for a couple of years before he urged them to travel the world with their mother. Nautilus didn’t want his bright eyed children to be stuck in Somrald forever. So his ex-wife and his children ended up leaving Somrald. Nautilus tries to find solace in his practice, but the loneliness gets more unbearable than he had thought. When his children leave, Nautilus finds no other reason to stay.
Nautilus, now in his early thirties, takes to the seas. He boards a ship as hired muscle, as he stood well over 2 meters tall and weighed over 115 kilograms. The ship was named The Star’s Maiden. He took up the alias Nate Russell, to simplify things and in his own way, leave his old life behind. Here on this ship, he sailed the likes of the Golden Gulf, the Malvent Strait, and the Emerald Sea. In these few years, he had crossed paths of a skilled and talented physician about fifteen years his senior: Dabney Halloway. He was studying in The Republic of Galbrada while his ship, The Guillemot, was at port. The Star’s Maiden had ported there for repairs.
Nate had come to find out that Dabney and his young daughter, Salice, were aboard there until they had found somewhere to settle. Nate and Dabney realized they had much in common and became close friends in this time and agreed they would study together if they should ever cross paths again. Nate had been thinking of settling in Vesuvia, and he had told Dabney to think about moving there as well. They could open practices near each other, and it was just a thought. Dabney said that he would consider, like he had anywhere else to go.
Within the year, Nate had found himself in Vesuvia opening a mortuary practice in town. Life was steady for a few months. Dabney had turned out moving to Vesuvia like Nate suggested after he and his daughter had been separated. Dabney opened a clinic and surgery and worked together with Nate as his associate mortician for more than a decade, until Dabney’s passing.
During this time, Nate had received word from his children, now separated from their mother. Barnabus and Heidi had been travelling together and had managed to start a life in Venterre, not too far from Vesuvia. They wanted to come visit him. Nate had written back, welcoming them to his home anytime they wanted to see him. Barnabus and Heidi frequently visit their father, growing closer together and making up for the lost years. Nate also forms a close relationship with Dabney’s daughter, Salice and her friends: Charlie and Daniel Reyes.
Trivia:
Nate has a US size 17 foot
Nate went bald at the age of 25, and has been shaving his head ever since
Monica had cheated on Nate with Nate’s friend from grade school
Nate can lift over 400 kg, as was known in Somrald as The Red Ox.
